Hello all, since we have so many different regions represented here, I was wondering, what is the best place to get, and specific donut to buy in your area?
In my area we have a couple local chains, but Shipley's reign supreme. Simply, glazed donut holes, are probably the go to round here. I am a blueberry cake aficionado, and they make a tasty one.
I would love to try the Tim Hortons so many talk about, as they sound fantastic.

Lidl do two magic ones that I love. They're both filled donuts with chocolate topping, one is filled with Nutella and the other is filled with Orange (like a Jaffa cake!). Krispy Kreme do fantastic glazed donuts, and one of my favourites though is a van over at the shopping centre which does freshly made sugar donuts that are fantastic!

The best donuts (or just about any pasrty) come from the small independent bakeries. Not the bakeries inside grocery stores. Sadly, there aren't many of those around. I guess for the big 3, it's Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme or Tim Horton's.

Dunkin' Donuts are absolutely perfect for me. Again, every time I eat them for couple of days in a row, I feel very guilty and fat of course. After that I am doing one of the diets , something like that betterme.world/articles/5-day-cleanse-to-lose-10-pounds/ and after 5 days I am ready to eat those donuts again and again. I know it is like a vicious circle but that's the life, right?

Sugar Shack fruity pebbles donuts. Or duck donuts if you prefer cake donuts.

If you come to NY, head to the "Doughtnut Plant". Great tasting
In general my favorite donut is the Boston Creme though

In Ireland we have loads of fancy donut places that have popped up over the last few years. Dunkin Donuts, Boston Donuts, Krispy Kreme, etc. along with lots of smaller one-off vendors getting in on the action too.
Despite this, the nicest doughnuts that I've had are still the ones that we get 4 for €1, in Tesco (a large chain grocery store, for ye that may not have heard of it in the US or such).
Mind you, I'm the same with burgers. Loads of burger themed places in my town, and around the country, and I still think the average, joe soap, run of the mill 'Hamburger' from McDonalds is my favourite.

Local place called Richy Kreme that's been around since 1948. Im sure there's a lot of local small places that are just as good but anyone that thinks Krispy Kreame or Dunkin is better just simply has 0 taste buds.

The irony was that I was thinking about a donut thread recently. Unfortunately, I can't have donuts unless they're gluten free. Krispy Kreme has some churro donuts that are limited edition and I really want to try them. I just don't know if they're worth getting a bad stomachache and breaking out.

I wish I could eat sugar like before but diabetes takes its toll. Now I have to buy trulicity online and keep a healthy lifestyle. Take care of yourself and pay attention to nutrition. A balanced diet provides most of the nutrients and energy you need to stay active throughout the day. A healthy diet can help to prevent many diseases including heart disease, diebetes, stroke, and certain types of cancer.
