They could've milked this all night. Felt weird this all happened in 5 minutes.
Should be a good match regardless

He’s soooo slow. But it is what it is. To be expected, I guess. I’d still rather watch him than Kyle ing Fletcher.

I'm usually don't care for the whole attendance debate, as long as the matches are good, then I'm happy. It's wrestling. That's what matters the most. But I'll indulge just this once, just look at where we were for Grand Slam 2021 compared to now We had a long ass ramp, the crowd was lit so well so you could see how many were there, now there's barely an area from the stage to the ring. Just for the sake of showing statistics as well: Grand Slam 2021: 20,177 Grand Slam 2022: 13,800 Grand Slam 2023: 11,263

My only problem with this is it's going to look like an announcer who doesn't wrestle anymore can walk into the ring and go toe to toe with the Company's World Champion. There are some guys I can accept that from, Nigel McGuinness isn't one of those people.

I'm enjoying this. I could've gone without the lame "will Brian be cleared" part but whatever. I get they had to weaken Bryan so Nigel being able to still hang would make some sense but could've still not done the lame is he cleared part.

I think they tried to mitigate it with the Bryan assault angle, but it would've made more sense if they waited until closer to the match to have him attacked.

The best Dynamite crowd in ages. 2021 was something else 🔥

The attack also wasn't nearly as brutal as they made it seem. He got hit with an uppercut, stomped out and choked with a bag. It's not like he got put through a table or the ring or even busted open.

The assault should have happened on the ramp and been brutal. Good match either way. Danielson looked liked he was moving in slow motion at times for Nigel's sake but they made the pace work.

I had no idea who Roderick Strong was until he showed up in AEW. I don't really care for his character but his matches are always high quality.
