It's a cruel world we live in where we have to watch a match where Anna Jay is the best wrestler on a team

So what is the match for the PPV, is it Jericho/Suzuki or is it still a 6-man? And is Elite vs. Acclaimed/Tanahashi on the PPV?

bWo Do you watch TNA,NJPW,ROH,NXT or any of the Indy products every week? If not, why? I'm guessing they don't interest you will be the answer or just don't have the time. So should everyone blame you if those companies starts getting worse ratings, attendance, buzz, etc, etc? I'm at a loss why anyone would possibly blame fans of another company on the reason that company is suffering🤷🏼♂️
I don't watch NXT because when the guys get called up to the main roster they feel like "new talents." Keeps the product fresh. ROH used to come on Sundays at 11pm. I watched that from time to time because it kind of reminded me of ECW and was vastly different than what I was getting from WWE. None of those other shows are on my cable package so I don't watch them. I'll watch highlights of them on youtube for the moves not the wrestlers. I'll say it again. Most WWE fans are WWE fans only. They don't care about any other company. It has been like this since the Attitude Era. WCW had some incredible tv. From the Cruiserwieghts, to The Flock, to Goldberg, NWO, Benoit/Booker T best of 7, 4 Horseman and on and on. WWE had a very large set in stone fan base that didn't care and trashed all of it because they were WWE fans. That Goldberg run and the reaction he was getting was AWESOME but every WWF fan said he was garbage simply because it was a different company, me included. Nitro ended up being aired on Wednesdays here in Canada and I started tuning in. I LOVED IT. It had so much to offer that WWF didn't have. When I started to watch and think for myself instead of not watching and thinking what WWF told me to think I realized there was another great wrestling show available to me. If more WWE fans were willing to step outside of that umbrella and let the wrestling world rain fall on them they see that there is life outside of those letters. NOT ALL OF THEM, but some. That "some" is all AEW would need to have a continued 1 million viewers. I'll ask you AGAIN. You watch AEW and WWE. Why? Would it be better if more WWE fans had your mindset? Why don't they? I agree completely WWE has dumb@$$ fans too that runs AEW down for fun on a daily basis but you acted like it was all on the WWE fans that has the us vs them mind set. As a big fan of both companies, trust me I wish all this stuff would end. I guarantee most everyone on these boards have been made fun of more then once because being a wrestling fan but then almost everyday you see people come up with different dumb insults thrown at other wrestling fans because they don't enjoy the same exact things they do🙄
WWE moved NXT to Wednesdays for one reason and one reason only. You know it and I know it. It was to create/maintain the "us vs them" mentality. If any WWE fans were contemplating watching AEW, WWE wanted to stop them. That is the culture of the company, and the fans buy into it. Do all the fans buy into it? No. Do most of them? Yes. AEW is VERY MUCH up and down these days. There was a time though when it was hot as hell and they were bringing in some popular ex WWE guys during that time. Where were the WWE fans? Maybe they didn't have the time. Maybe the didn't have the channel. Maybe the didn't have the energy. All of the above can be factual. Many of those fans not watching simply because AEW wasn't WWE can also be factual. That is the history of the fans and company. Why you want to so hard to discredit that is beyond me. Almost every time a ex WWE guy or girl came in they were throwing jabs towards WWE early on,hell that was pretty much Brodie's whole character and how many times has TK threw his own jabs that way on Twitter? I'm thinking they threw NXT on Wednesday because they were trying to do what they thought was best for their company. Why do you think they shouldn't do everything they can to make their company the number one wrestling company? Throwing jabs at your former company is what wrestlers do. They always have. As far as moving NXT to Wednesdays, how was that going to help their viewership? Having it air on its own night with no other wrestling shows would draw the most wrestling views. The second you air it during another show you risk cutting into your audience, and that's exactly what happened. They moved it back to Tuesday to maximize their audience again, and it worked. They moved NXT to Wednesdays in an attempt to snuff out AEW. You know that. Don't pretend it was an attempt at "growing the audience." As far as trying to make their company the "number 1 wrestling company" they already are and always will be. WWE has more fans than every other wrestling company combined. You do get some wrestlers do better/better suited in certain companies? I think most would agree Cody is definitely one of them with WWE,that's one of the reasons he's at the top of the sport nowCody was already in the company you say he is better suited to be in and was a joke. If AEW never existed do you think Cody would have ended up back in WWE in the spot he's in right now? just like Toni Storm,Mox,Swerve and Christian to name a few are doing a lot better in AEW then they was in WWE. And yet few WWE fans will tune in to see the much improved versions of these characters. That's my point. If they didn't push Cody, all we would've heard that's what he gets for beinga traitor and they knew he was gonna be Stardust again within a year but since they did push him now we get these stupid arguments every time his name comes up. That's what you call a no win situation. Agreed. That would have been the argument you heard from AEW fans. Had Cody not been in AEW and gone back to WWE and been Stardust or some other mid-card jobber role, WWE fans wouldn't have been shocked because that's what he was in their eyes before he left. He was a joke that few people cared about. As soon as he went to AEW and came back suddenly those same fans who didn't care when he left wanted him beating Roman Reigns. Quite the turn around in opinions. Had he gone to Japan and went back to WWE nobody would have cared that much about him. Had he gone to TNA and went back to WWE nobody would have cared that much about him. As soon as he went to what is considered the "number 2 wrestling company" and was considered a star, WWE fans wanted him to be the biggest star in their company when he went back. That's apart of "us vs them" mentality. You mentioned how WWE fans are already running down Ricochet because he left but its plenty of that same stuff with AEW fans too. Just look no farther then Black and Buddy,Black was a future world champ most was saying but now he wants out, they saying he's nothing and King is the only bright spot of the HoB until he decides to go and he'll be nothing too for most, that's just how it is with a lot of fans. It goes both ways, I so wish it didn't but I don't think you're paying enough attention if you don't think AEW fans does the same.I agree. And I'll say those AEW fans are just as foolish as the WWE fans with the same mentality. I criticize AEW as much if not more than most people on here. You seem to want to skim over that fact for some reason. My argument is 700,000 AEW fans with 500,000 in the wrong mindset isn't the same as 2 million WWE fans with 1.8 million with the wrong mindset. When WWE wrestlers jump ship almost every AEW fan knows who they are because most AEW fans watch WWE. If Kenny Omega or Hangman Adam Page showed up on Raw, how many WWE fans do you honestly think would know who they are?

I just got rid of my warning bar I'm staying out of this one 🤣. I did enjoy last week's more than I expected. Overall I've been finding the week to week stuff a lot more skippable. Big shows still deliver though. Not a huge deal to me tbh, growing up I never watched week to week wrestling even in the height of the attitude era, I just constantly rewatched PPVs. Looking forward to the Owen matches though, love me a tournament. I respect your opinions about wrestling as much as anybody on here, especially on the AEW side but can you please tell me what I said that was that wrong? And remember, look who you're agreeing with lolYou respect one of the most respected guys in these threads...................... Unless he agrees with someone that you don't agree with. Then you try to take a backhanded swipe at him. Tribalism at its finest.

Another go home show for "Forbidden Door" that means NOTHING TO ME. I don't know who these people are. The only "Forbidden Door" I would be interested in is AEW vs WWE. If only.............. MJF/Daniel Garcia/Will Ospreay promo - I get that they are Garcia's home town but MJF vs Garcia at Wembley sells zero tickets or PPV buys. That's a match they should have been having on an episode of Dynamite in a city like, I don't know, Buffalo. Will's comments about his promo being longer than he lasts in bed got a good laugh out of me. Putting the AEW World Title on the line when he hasn't even won it came across more as stupid/confusing than it did confident. I also didn't like how they just left MJF hanging in the corner like a stooge. He walked out angry like a heel and exited through the heel side of the ramp. There's no way they're going that route because people want to cheer him. BCC vs Japanese guys - This was a good brawl for what it was. I don't know who these guys are though so it looked like a bunch of jobbers hanging with the biggest faction in AEW. That doesn't work for me brother. I did like how in the end Mox just said FECK IT and grabbed a chair to end it. Claudio looked a little more SWOLE than normal. Rey Fenix vs Jay White - Solid match. Don't really have anything else to say. I really like Juice Robinson. Glad he's back. Bang Bang Gang has one of the best entrances in the company. Acclaimed/Cucks Promo - This was okay until Billy called out a Japanese guy I know nothing about. Okada's "scissor me betch" got a good laugh out of me. I'm thinking Hangman is FINALLY making his return as the "wild card." Some people online suggesting it could be Rick O Shay. Briscoe/Cassidy/O'Reilly promo - Mark Briscoe is un underutilized gem. He's gold on the mic and in the ring. He had the crowd behind him when his brother died and Tony did nothing with him. Opportunity lost. Womens match - Meh. I liked the post match bottle to the head. I've only seen Mina Shirakawa on AEW. Don't know who she is but GODDAMN she's hot. Mercedes Mone promo - .............. Sums it up. Learning Tree - The only thing I like about this gimmick is how Jericho and Bill are calm and then Brian Keith gets on the mic screaming like an angry maniac. No idea what the hell was supposed to be going on here? Is Jericho having a 1 on 1 with Suzuki? That makes more sense considering the FTW Title is now AEW's version of The Hardcore Title. This segment confused the hell out of me. I did think it was funny that Jericho was expecting Suzuki to accept the partnership, but whoever edited that video needs to be fired. It was HORRIBLE. Zack Sabre Jr vs Kyle O’Reilly - I really liked this match. Had an MMA style feel to it and the finish was fantastic. Orange Cassidy should NEVER be at the commentary desk again, especially when a match like this is taking place. These guys were doing 4 minutes worth of moves and counters in 30 seconds and Orange is blabbering on slowly the entire time. The after match get together was a poster of "who the feck are these people?" Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay vs Gates Of Agony - I absolutely DESPISE these Samoan characters in wrestling. Every time the camera is on them they stick out their tongue and start grunting AAAARRRRRGHHHHHHH. This isn't the 80's anymore. They don't have to pretend like these people live on a remote island and can't speak. This is AEW's version of The Viking Raiders. When you come out looking like the guy on the left you've lost all credibility in my eyes. ALL. I didn't care much for the much because most of it was AAAAARARARRGGGGGHGHGGHHGHHGHGGHHG. I liked the post match angle. Swerve warned Ospreay a few weeks ago that if he ever touched his World Title again he would make him regret it. That "House Call" looked like he legit connected and Ospreay sold it beautifully. A decent show that doesn't really matter to me because half of the people on it mean less than nothing to me. It's a great concept. Tony has the right idea. It just doesn't work for me though. If AEW was doing this with WWE it would be magic. This New Japan stuff is more like a cheap card trick to me though. No interest.

Man I selfishly love forbidden door season even though I know it doesn't work for most fans. This one has been terrible. I can't imagine how dull it must be for people who aren't into the forbidden door concept when I'm mostly checked out on it and I'm the damn target market for it to begin with lol.

Last night was the first Dynamite I've watched in full in quite some time but it came across very dull to me. Forbidden Door at this point just feels like a novelty/gimmick PPV kinda thing. The only match I'd pay to see is Swerve - Ospreay. Two AEW guys

I really don’t want to acknowledge your novel again, but there’s something in there that I can’t get past. You talk down about WWE on a consistent basis yet you would enthusiastically welcome an AEW v. WWE show? Any way you can explain that in less than 500 words?

I talk negatively about both companies when they deserve it. They're the biggest and best companies in North America. A "Forbidden Door" between the two would be fantastic. I count 28 words there. What about those toy reviewers using the place as their own personal notebook? Are they not supposed to provide an opinion? Are they not supposed to generate discussion?
