DA was definitely the best Jakks line, most of my collection is DA and DA custom figs. Their only failure is when they made the figs like Abyss, Big Show etc. The articulation on the legs/groin is terrible, and it was pretty silly making Mick Foley and Samoa Joe the same size as Big Show.

As s kid, the Deluxe line was my absolute favourite. It was such a game changer for playing with, and some of the best accessories came with the Deluxe line. I know Jakks TNA line didn't do the best, and admittedly I'd have loved more characters in the later Series but it had already died a slow death at that point, but it produced some great figures. Abyss is one of Jakks best, and the RVD/Jeff RSC set is one of the best two packs ever released in my opinion. I wish it'd get looked at more fondly and I'm glad most of your collection is the TNA stuff because it was a great line!

The DA2 or the King Booker one, I'm not sure of the series are two of my favourite figures that Jakks ever did.

That American Sting is probably my favorite DA. Followed by Dynamite Kid, Mr Perfect & Scott Steiner. Is that the AJ Styles head? It looks like the Helms head from what I remember.

Dude, I thought that too. I had a quick search because I thought that it must have been one of the last Series we never seen in stores, and sure enough it's Series 11. I'd never seen that one before, it's really freaking good! But I totally get the similarities because I though it was a custom head and it reminded me of the Deluxe Helms hair and beard. |
