Tragic, and unexpected news...
Him & Dave were admittedly the only two i knew by name in the band for many many years.
Though the Foo Fighters have never been my favourite band, i always enjoy whenever they come on during the playlist, or whenever i go and put them on myself.

Normally, celebrity deaths usually don't bother me. This one is different. Hawkins was a part of the soundtrack of my life basically. The Foos are by far my favorite band so this stings.
Very tragic and unexpected. He just played a show (which is on YouTube if anyone wants to watch his final performance). I remember a few months back they had to cancel a show because they had to take a member to the hospital. I wonder if this was related.
I was lucky enough to see them 6 times over the past few years and for that I'll always be grateful. Thanks for all the memories.

One of those moments where you just can't believe/don't want to believe the news. Foo Fighters is my favorite band, I'm gutted.

Foo Fighters are basically my favorite band and this was extremely painful for me and shocking. Not only that I found out because of the Iron Sheik twitter which kind of pisses me off. Oh well.
In a broader sense it really feels like the death of the band as well. How can it continue without Taylor? It can't, really.
