We had a couple in my city, and it was killer. The arcade was the draw, but the pizza was bomb too.

I'm sure I'd love it, if I knew what the hell it was. Pizza > not pizza.

WOW, my mind is blown that nobody knows about Mr. Gattis....I think I had my first 10 birthday parties there. Its where I learned to play & beat Wrestlefest...NFL Blitz, Mortal Kombat and many other arcade games. I still go from time to time (usually on off days) an binge pizza. If I eat a ton all at once I wont want it every single day....which is slightly healthier to do that way.

Had my birthdays there in ‘96 and ‘97, and my sister had a couple there as well. Had family outings there all the time through the 2000s. Now most of the locations in my area have closed, but I still do go and stuff my face at one of the remaining two every few weeks or so. So many memories.

I remember them from when we lived in Austin, but I can't recall ever going. My memories of Texas in that regard are mostly centered around ShowBiz Pizza, Celebration Station, and Pandamonium Playland.

I used to go to Gattiland all the time when my dad loved out by Jefferson Mall. Haven't had their pizza in ages now though.

The last time a friend and I went, a guy working at Kids took off his name tag and ran out of the store to fight someone.

That sounds about right for the J-Mall these days. no Mr Ghattis but we still have a Ghattitown here in Lexington tho.

We used to have one in town here in NC and I was never really a fan. Preferred Papa John's, Domino's, even storebought brands like DiGiorno and Tombstone, honestly.

Man, so the town I'm from outside of Louisville, Jeffersonville, Indiana, is the hometown of Papa John's founder John Schnatter. I've had friends work at "store #1" and they get constant calls from people claiming to be his friend or relative so they can get money off on their order or free pizza. It's so ridiculous that it's funny. I can't stand Papa John's. Might be because growing up we had it so much at home and school. Or maybe it's something to do with the sauce. I'm proud of Schnatter for becoming a big name as a hometown boy (he definitely destroyed his public image later, but that's another story for another day), but man his pizza is no good.
