Hi Just purchased a hulk hogan classic superstars series 8, the figure comes with the winged eagle belt. I notice there is also one that comes with the 1985 belt. Does anyone know which one is the variant? Was it a running change? Was one produced more than the other? Couple of pictures below found on google images showing the difference.   Thanks |

The winged eagle is more common, similar to the smaller world heavyweight title on the NWO version. If I remember right, the titles were changed in the second run which was a smaller run so there was less of them. 9 times out of 10 this is for sale it’s the winged eagle.

No problem mate. Just as a follow up since we're both UK collectors. The first wave was found at Forbidden Planet and TRU and the second shipment went to Tesco, although I'm not sure if it went anywhere else. |
