Does anyone here have any experience with food box delivery companies like Blue Apron, Hello fresh, etc? Are they worth the money and do they taste good at all?

Blue Apron is amazing but it isn't quick to make the meal. I thought Hello Fresh was garbage.

Revco catering is a good one. Typically takes you 20 minutes in the oven and that’s all you have to do. The food is very good imo. I use them about once a month

I’m a picky eater too and I don’t want to end up with something that I’m never going to eat. I think with some of these you can pick your meals and that’s the only way I’d do it.

My girlfriend and I have used a couple when we’ve received discounts/coupons. They’re pretty alright if you like the food that they offer, which usually consists of some type of meat/seafood and vegetables from what I’ve seen/gotten. The recipes are provided with the ingredients and are easy to follow.
You also may be able to just find their recipes online and buy the ingredients yourself to make.

No they aren’t worth the money. Plus you could end up with some bad look veggies (wilted) or meats. Only cool thing is that the food is proportioned.

We've seriously considered Hello Fresh, but I'm a really picky eater and if there was one thing a week I didn't like I feel it'd be such a waste. Saves doing too much cooking, but we've never tried it yet.

I heard many positive reviews about Hello Fresh however never tried to order it. I once tried Grubhub after reading the reviews at this webpage. Pretty fast delivery and friendly customer service. Worth recommending IMHO.

Never tried any of these things. I prefer to cook my own food.

At full price I think they’re usually like $5-$10 per person which isn’t bad at all as long as you cook them and you like them.

I've been looking into Every Plate. Has anyone here had any experience with that service?

I recently tried Hello Fresh again and it was a lot better than I remembered. The prep work/chopping is kind of annoying but the quality was good.
