Sad to hear, my dad is a massive Meat Loaf fan, he would go and see him live pretty much every time he would perform in Scotland or Northern England. He told me once that he got the crowd to be quiet and told the band to stop playing and he sang to the audience without a microphone, that was how powerful his voice was! I also remember my dad being like WTF when he heard that Meat Loaf was going to be in the Spice Girls movie in the 90s.

This one bums me out. Outside loving him in Rocky Horror and Fight Club, I really enjoyed his music. Think I’ll go buy a Meat Loaf album today and play it.

I'm gutted. I'm a huge Meat Loaf fan.
Bat Out of Hell is one of those rare perfect, front to back albums.
A prime example of quality over quantity.
The title track was instrumental in me wanting to pick up the guitar as a kid.
I'm going to be listening to Everything Louder Than Everything Else on repeat all week.
