Which movies did you not like on the first viewing but eventually liked over time?
I thought Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was utter crap when I first saw it. I was just waiting for something to happen but nothing really did until the last twenty or so minutes. Rick filmed a scene. Cliff drove around. Sharon watched a movie. Rick and Cliff watched TV. That was the movie for all of two hours.
I knew very little about the Sharon Tate / Charles Manson backstory but I still knew there was something to it. When I left the theatre, I was thinking that there was no way that the guy that made the likes of Inglorious Basterds and The Hateful Eight just made that snoozefest. I gave the movie a bit of research, found out who were real people, who the Mansons were etc, but also realized that its a day in the life sort of movie rather than a plot driven movie, so when I watched it again from that perspective, it changed my opinion on it. I absolutely loved it and its now my favourite movie.

I guess I could count Clerks. I first saw Mallrats at 13 and thought it was hilarious. I knew nothing of Kevin Smith or his work, but the video store guy insisted if we liked Mallrats we should try Clerks. Bored the living hell out of me. The black and white. The nerd jokes and the sex jokes I didn’t understand. The setting of the film being the same place for basically the whole movie. I waited a couple years and watched the rest of Smith’s work and loved all of them. So I figured I’d give it another shot and was finally old enough to get it. It’s crazy to think about because if I had to credit a film and it’s director for being the major reason I’m still alive today, it’s Clerks and Kevin Smith. I actually just attended a Q&A with him in Philly and then drove to the Quik Stop in Jersey both on my birthday this past October.

Pineapple Express
- Saw it in the theater and it didn't really click with me, then I saw it when it came out on dvd and loved it. Have seen it probably 30 times and still quote it often.
"Chill. I'm boiling some eggs over here. We got a lot of time to hang out. I'm making a f'n cake."

Eternals
Watching it for the first time I thought, "Is this a Marvel movie?". After giving it some thought and understanding. I ended up kind of liking it for the things it did do right. (The CGI kind of through me off too in some parts when they showed the Deviants) The story finally made sense at the end of it all.

The 1st Terminator. Saw as a kid & young teen & didn’t like it. It’s slow, boring, bad idea. Then as a young adult I really liked it & appreciate it.

Incredibly, I first thought of Pineapple Express too when I opened the thread. Seen it when it came out and thought it was Seth Rogens worst yet, but I watched it on Netflix a few years ago and now it's my favourite movie he's done. Seen it at least 10 times in the last year, I love it.
Another one is This is the End. I didn't get into it first time around and ended up turning it off an hour in. Gave it another chance again on Netflix and loved it.

All Monsters Attack. It's a Godzilla film that mainly features an annoying child actor. The movie just mainly reuses old Monster footage from the other Godzilla movies. I borrowed the DVD from my brother and at first I couldn't sit through it. Then I caught it on TCM one morning and I actually enjoyed it since it had a Home Alone vibe to it.

I love watching movies and I have always loved all genres except zombie movies. But recently, because of my younger sister, I had to watch one of these movies. Honestly, I liked it a bit and thanks to the fact that I connected the cinehub a long time ago after reading www.firesticktricks.com/cinehub-apk.html . I've watched a few movies and here they are: -Alone, -Alive, -Army of Thieves, -Army of the Dead. If it weren't for my sister, I probably wouldn't love this genre of movies anymore
