I was excited for the NWA Jarrett, but his face looks like modern Jeff Jarrett.

I took a look at my Blue Meanie this morning…and…it seems to be turning yellow. Is this happening with anyone else’s?

I just got the shipping notification for Ultimo and Sonny in the US. Not sure if Macho or Duane Gill shipped, I've gotten conflicting stuff from the orders. I'll definitely check the colors on Blue Meanie next time I get a chance.

ztj_wwf If I were you, I’d reach out to 3Lephant (Naptown Icon). I’m sure he’ll be willing to replace your Meanie. I had the same issue come up with mine, and when I mentioned it to him, he offered to replace it. I don’t believe all of them are like that. It might have just been a bad batch. I got a confirmation email with tracking for both Ultimo and Sonny 2-packs. Savage and Gill are listed under “Unshipped items”, for what that’s worth.

The second variant 2-pack is currently for sale on FC’s site. Limited to 100. Love the colors on this one:

Received Dragon and Onoo a couple days ago and really enjoy the figures. I really can't understate how much this line feels like it could have existed in 1997 alongside the original BCAs. My figure did have some flaws in it (some paint chipping on the red waistband, the torso isn't 100% flush with the waistline), but these are all the types of things that you would see on the Jakks BCAs so I don't mind at all.
I never assumed the entrance attire was removable from the photos, but I guess some folks had questions. It's firmly stuck on Dragon's back, there's no taking it off without cutting or breaking something.

I never assumed the entrance attire was removable from the photos, but I guess some folks had questions. It's firmly stuck on Dragon's back, there's no taking it off without cutting or breaking something. I feel the same as you. Very pleased with them, despite any flaws. FC had quite a bit of time to work out the kinks, and I think they succeeded in delivering a well-rounded 2-pack. My orders shipped with plenty of bubble wrap and air bags for protection. I really enjoy the packaging not having tape of any kind. It’s as quick and simple an unboxing process as it gets. The brand new figure smell hits you right away. Not the same as a Jakks figure, but still a chemical composition that is undeniable. Figures have a cleanness and a glossy finish to them that makes them seem more official. The problem areas for me were similar. A couple of my Dragons had paint chips around the waist, and the paint apps don’t always line up as well as I would like. I worry that discoloration over time will result in the crotch/waist piece not matching the color of the legs. Dragon’s entrance gear being hard plastic and not removable was a bummer for me. But the positives do outweigh the negatives. The scale is very much in line with BCAs. Their weight is just a tad more, which honestly surprised me, as I thought they’d weigh less. Dragon doesn’t have as much of a gummy texture as Meanie had, and even though the feet are larger and wider than a BCA, it doesn’t stand out as much as it does on Clark. The exclusion of the Bone Crushing mechanism for Dragon isn’t even noticeable. The limbs still have a slightly soft, rubbery plastic feel to them. I can’t rave enough about Sonny Onoo. If you enjoy the Managers style like I do, there’s nothing more you could possibly want from it. The size and shape. The wrinkles in the suit. It’s just perfect. Even the details on the camera accessory are sure to impress. For my money, it’s the best figure in the entire line. Would easily rank among the best of the BCA line, too. I think every wrestling figure collector should go out of their way to add this one to their collection.

Do people not realize Ultimo wrestles in the chest/shoulder pads thing?

Do people not realize Ultimo wrestles in the chest/shoulder pads thing? It’s not that. I could’ve sworn at some point the piece was said to be removable. I don’t take issue with it other than it being unfortunate that Ultimo’s arms are limited in their movement. It’s fine for display purposes. I guess I can’t help but to think of them as playable and how I would’ve felt if BCA LOD’s shoulder pads had been hard plastic and restrictive. Kid me would have probably pried them off and suffered the consequences lol.

A 1 of 200 BCW Macho Man variant was revealed by 3Lephant (Naptown Icon) last night on The Fig Cave podcast. Here’s a link: www.instagram.com/reel/C6LyM-RrAb8/And here’s a clearer photo of the MOC figure, along with the standard release: Both Machos are expected to ship in the next couple weeks. The variant will have a special sticker on the bubble commemorating the limited run, and it will be an in-stock drop as opposed to a preorder (similar to the second Dragon/Onoo variant). Will be available on FC’s site, as well as Action Figure Cellar for fans in the UK.

By the way, here’s Duane Gill MOC. It’s expected to ship with both versions of Macho Man in the next couple of weeks. As mentioned earlier on this page, once this latest batch ships from the factory, preorders for Series 2 Jeff Jarrett will open.

I wonder why they painted his legs? Now his trunks look like bikers. Should have left it the way it was on the prototype.

Probably didn’t want the trunks to look so much like Speedos or underwear riding up his thighs. Yeah but that’s how all BCA trunks were. It only looked speedo-ish on the Ahmed body because of how thick the thighs were (which actually worked for Ahmed, but not so much for Shamrock or Austin).
