Digging the fact that they changed the blue, good on them that's pretty good.
I immediately think of Bash at the Beach '96 when I hear "Who's side is he on". There's no freaking way it's Hulk though right?

It has to be Bobby Heenan then? As he was in the Nitro picture.

If there is a literal connection to Bash at the Beach ‘96 and it’s not just a cute way of saying “Which promotion will it be from?”, I can’t help but circle back to Lex Luger.
I REALLY don’t think anyone else from that match would be possible, but I’d so love to be wrong. Those are some heavy hitters.

I think hogan would be very very unlikely However the only thing stopping g me from saying it’s not hogan is 1 he’s a big enough name like andre to have multiple licences across multiple companies 2. I believe hogan owns his name / likeness meaning he may have more control than your average wwe legend contracted wrestler I’d still say it’s very unlikely but not out of the realm of possibility - it would push chella into the stratosphere - he has 2.2 mil Twitter followers so a tweet or two would be mega but yeah, maybe if we get confirmation it’s bash related it might change but my chance of it being hogan scale is currently at 2.5% If it is bash related: Sting - potential Macho - nope Hall or nash - nope Luger - most likely - we haven’t had wwe figure for a while and no other new merch that I can recall seeing for a bit

While I think it’s slim, would be a massive get to have macho. But I think Luger is much more a possibility

Raven was infamous for his fall out so all 3 are unlikely to get a legends deal so if I was chella I’d be going after Raven and Quebecers

Someone I know saw Lex at a convention last year and he said he was still under a deal with WWE (he said he was part of the Ambassador program). That could have changed though.
CMG represents Savage like Andre and I don't think anything with them is exclusive deals. And the line could be in reference to Starrcade when Savage first showed up to WCW and pretended to side against Hogan.
But I think Bobby Heenan is probably the best guess.

They teased it with the Nitro picture, and now a quote. I hadn’t thought Bobby Heenan but you could be right, it is HIS quote after all, I just assumed it’d be one of the wrestlers in the match. Interesting!

I'm still lurking if anyone has any specific questions about the new BCW line! Yes. When can we expect your next podcast appearance? Will you look to balance out the number of WCW or ECW names versus WWF names each series? Will WWF ever be in the minority? Are there any Jakks BCA parts you hope to avoid using as inspiration for the BCWs? Paul Wight’s ginormous hands came to mind recently, and I’d rather not go down the route of comically-oversized parts again. When’s the soonest that we could see a preview of the packaging, front and/or back view? Thanks for checking in with us!

Everyone guessing hogan sting luger heenan and savage all must have missed the part where they said the last talent is like sonny ono…they have never had a figure before…that leaves mike tenay or tony schivone based on the teaser pic

A Luger BCA would be so amazing -- but Narcissist or USA gear? I'd guess Narcissistic...
Based on those clues, it sounds like the sixth and final spot in Series 1 will go to a top-tier WCW talent. My thought was someone who held the world title in that promotion, specifically in the mid-to-late ‘90s. Lex Luger or DDP would be my guess.
If you're thinking strictly wcw then I can see them doing luger and ddp.
But what about a redone jarret?... he was I'm wcw as well

A Luger BCA would be so amazing -- but Narcissist or USA gear? I'd guess Narcissistic... I was thinking more ‘95 Allied Powers Luger with his hair grown out. It fits the timeframe better than his ‘93/‘94 run, and if you make a sculpt based on that look, it could easily be repainted into a ‘95 WCW Luger in black trunks. If FC and Chella want to stretch it even further, they could make limited variants of late ‘80s/early ‘90s Luger using those parts. All of the different colored trunks he wore during that period? The possibilities are endless.

If they can get ahold of Jarrett, I would want to see him redone. A short-haired late ‘90s version (that’s not a repainted Owen) could work for WWF or WCW because he wore the same type of gear in a variety of colors (variants galore!). Same for mid-‘90s “Double J” with shoulder-length hair. The one look of his that I’d want more than any other, and I’m being completely serious, is Aztec Warrior Jeff from late ‘97! That would be a tough sell lol, but exactly the kind of Attitude Era deep cut that would’ve been BCA-worthy 24 years ago.

Its gotta be Savage. Had a sneaky suspicion last week and predicted it on the latest 3 Points of Articulation podcast episode.
In the Bone Crushing Sessions with Jamie, FC had already said Luger wasn't able to be signed.
Still, I could be wrong. Unsure the line is for me but this is still bloody exciting stuff lol 🧨🧨
