Just a theory, but does anyone find it odd that they’ve been calling up all these Nxt talent then releasing them shortly thereafter… once they are locked under a 90 no compete as opposed to 30…. I mean, seems like the kind of a-hole dirt bag move that some there would pull…. They’ve shown they really have no care for their talents. Just all around a terrible Thing for these people in general but especially near the holidays. But that would mean they are paying them for 90 days instead of 30? I don’t know why that would be a motive? Other than Vince and Kevin Dunn don’t watch NXT.

I don’t buy into “budget cuts” because their quarterly meetings have proven that they ar more profitable than ever. Only thing I can rational is their feet are the the flames with AEW picking up some momentum and feel that “90 day no compete clause = out of sight out of mind and it can’t be as big of a debut/surprise for the competition. I just look at it was two different things at this point though. WWE is sport entertainment and the target audience is kids. AEW is professional wrestling catered towards the older audience/hardcore fans.

I hope JoMo gets one more good run somewhere before he calls it a day. Swerve and Nox(if healthy) can be big names in the sport if they end up at the right place, looking forward to what they both will do in their futures.

Surprised Miz is still employed. Miz will be employed until the day he decides to retire. He does way too much for the company between appearances, tv shows, additional exposure outside wrestling shows, etc…

Meanwhile on NXT, Bronn Breaker, a racist Italian caricature, the going nowhere Diamond Mine, and the next Bray Wyatt are the future of WWE. LOL. Everyday people are starting to give up on WWE and it couldn't be more deserved. Attachment Deleted

Yeah Miz does an insane amount for the company. I think Cena even said once that Miz out works him. Have no doubt he will have a position within the company once his in ring career ends.

The old NXT was the only thing I watched on the network. I feel sorry for HHH because he has the correct vision for the direction he wants to take WWE, he's much more into the gritty badass look for wrestling not that cartoon nonsense Vince promotes. Sad. Triple H’s “vision” was doomed when AEW was announced. It was the niche super-indie to appeal to people who hate WWE, propped up by dumb conspiracy theories about Vince not knowing it exists, Kevin Dunn hating HHH, etc. WWE haters did mental backflips to pretend NXT wasn’t part of WWE. AEW exists now, and is for-realzies not part of WWE, so NXT serves no purpose other than as a developmental programme again. If what HHH was doing was the “correct vision” it wouldn’t have lost. Personally, I am furious about the firings. I wish that they would’ve just paid these people to sit in catering forever, or to put over the wrestlers that WWE wants to push. Nobody would’ve had a problem with that. Nobody would’ve complained that they lost a match, or that they weren’t on the show, or that WWE was hoarding talent, or that they should be released and go to one of the TNAs. The fans would’ve been happy with it. But Vince couldn’t have that, so here we are.

The few names that do not fit into budget cuts were either too old (again budget) or had issues with their attitude. In a company as big as WWE is at the moment you simply cannot afford people who constantly stand out with poor behavior. Yeah Miz does an insane amount for the company. I think Cena even said once that Miz out works him. Have no doubt he will have a position within the company once his in ring career ends. Wouldn’t be the worst outcome fir both sides. Miz is extremely intelligent. WWE would be smart to benefit as long as possible.

Aleister Black had only a 30-day non-compete when he was released. B-Fab apparently just got signed to a new contract when she was released.

Does the non-complete clause mean they are being paid? I always thought that that meant they were no longer with the WWF (not being paid) but they could not join a certain company during that time.

I think Morrison will probably be happy to get cut, they've done nothing with him in months and his wife just got fired after 4 months. They'd both be better off without being in WWE in my opinion. Can't understand why they bothered to sign both of them in the first place just to be here. Seems like such a wasted opportunity.
