I owned a lot of cassettes but the first CD album I ever purchased personally was Stankonia by Outkast. That album still hits from every angle.

I couldn't pass up answering this thread. First record was Michael Jackson "Thriller" First cassette tape Led Zeppelin IV First CD Pearl Jam "Ten" And I still have all 3!!!

I believe it was this one (or it maybe have been another version of it, I really don't remember exactly). I was a very young child, maybe 5 or 6, I don't remember who gave it to me but it was technically my first album.

The first album I ever remember owning first that wasn't a WWF the Music album, was my dad buying me Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water.
I still love that album to this day!
