I thought it was supposed to be a serious movie but it was just an action comedy with The Rock and Ryan Reynolds.

Score was very similar to James Bond as I think that’s what they were trying to go with this movie. 

The Rock as an FBI agent is completely unbelievable so much so they made reference to that early on in the movie. There were other completely unbelievable aspects to this movie and they had to keep spoon feeding explanations to the viewer to keep them engaged bc none of it made sense.

In light of the Alec Baldwin on set shooting, the Rock stated he would never use a live firearm on a set again. And that is for the best. The Rock’s poor weapons handling was evident to anyone who has ever held a weapon. No FBI agent would ever hold a gun the way Dwayne did during this movie. 

Waste of 2 hours.

I think you have too high of expectations, the rock has never been in a movie that requires more than a chimp’s iq to process, and that may be insulting chimps.

The Rock has been the new Arnold for years now.

The problem I have with him is he always looks the same. In his early years he kept muscle mass down & looked the part in whatever movie he was playing in. Now it’s gym rat size in every movie.
Like sometimes it’s not believable. When he’s doing a buddy buddy movie he either:
A) Out shines everyone
or
B) the others take up the Rocks lack there of shine.

I don’t know I watched it yesterday and I went into it knowing it was going to be a Ryan Reynolds (and Rock) type of humor movie and felt that was what I got. I felt it hit the expectations I had set for it and enjoyed it for what it was.

It’s a movie with The Rock so you gotta go in with low expectations from the start or you’ll be disappointed
