So how long do you think it's going to take jazwares to get those Owen Hart figures up for pre-order? I'm hoping by Thanksgiving...any thoughts?

You know, strike while the iron is hot?

They’re going to take their time and do everything the way Martha wants. We’ll get them when we get them.

Everyone thought jazwares was going to fast track a Sting figure, but it's coming out Dec this year, one year after he debuted.

People have been waiting for 20 years for this.
Let everyone involved take their time. There's no rush on this. This isn't the case of a talent who might get released and go elsewhere or a contract expiring. This is a legacy product and, as Buttercup said, the iron will always be hot. Nobody is going to look at a figure that we've been waiting this long on and change their mind over being forced to wait another couple months.
Put the time into this and make it absolutely perfect. Make it something his family will be proud of and something that gives Owen the respect he has always deserved.

Its not about priority or anything, its simple logistics...The turn around time AT BEST is 9 months (Mattel did someone but I cant remember who it was)...Summer of 2022 is the absolute earliest.

The Mattel 1st basic Brock Lesnar was a rush job and that had new parts. Pretty sure the mattel guys and Jeremy always say that the heads are the most time consuming to get perfect everything else they might have in the parts library to get out.

So unless they were already working on an Owen head sculpt back in Jan / Mar I don’t see one coming out until mid next year. Once a sculpt is made it has to be approved by all parties. Then if they need to make changes to it it will need to get approved again by all parties. So the head sculpt alone could take months.

They could have had a done deal two months ago for all anyone knows and had partners sign NDA and waited about releasing a statement until the company/Martha felt it was the right time.

I think it was Kevin Owens. You know who was also making a figure of him and Mattel fasttracked a KO with duct tape shirt to get a headstart. It was hideous as the figure was too slim and he had bigger arms than Hulk Hogan it looked like.

I’m sure an Owen will be fast tracked so just wait until you see a cm punk then add about a month or two .

Those things are the biggest pile of garbage. We're literally getting 3D printed heads that look million times better than what a "big wrestling retailer" puts out.
