Another Classic for my Collection - Series 3 Bret Hart!

This figure is one of my childhood favourites, and still my favourite Bret Hart figure of all time. MOC it always felt like a special figure because of the "From Wrestlemania 8" writing on the packaging. I got a really good deal on it and it's started me off collecting Bret Classic figures.

Did Jakks ever say why this was the only classic superstars they put where the attire was from on the package? Strange it was on a regular line figure and not an exclusive.

I loved this figure as a kid. Found it hidden up on the top of a shelf at my local Kmart. Might be my favorite Bret figure.

I can't say I've ever heard a reason given. It does seem a bit strange that this was the only one, but maybe one day Jeremy might give us a reason.

Such a great figure, my only complaint is the lack of a classic IC title, but to be fair to Jakks this was the series before they made the classic titles. I loved this whole wave and have a great memory of picking them all up on the same day. I loved it when they would have figures that were based on a specific match. The fact this says from WrestleMania VIII makes it even cooler. It is weird that this figure has that on it, kind of like how in series 1 only Shawn Michaels and HHH have photos on the side of the box instead of a pic of the figure.

I also have to say that Bret Hart is one character that Jakks did way better than Mattel has managed to do so far.

I still think that Jakks efforts of Bret Hart are far superior to Mattel. I don't feel Mattel have got the head right yet on him, and Jakks attires outside of not doing my favourite one (survivor Series '96) were always spot on.

Plus a nice bonus of Jakks Hitman glasses was that you could turn them round and they were silver, so they were perfect for the Hart Foundation two pack.

He had one in Series 1 as well. If my memory serves me right (it probably doesn’t) the CS line started around the same time Bret agreed to the Hall of Fame induction and DVD set

That was the best Jakks Bret Hart figure they ever released!

I just didn't like that it came with the newer style IC Title. Only downfall to that figure.

100% mate, still my all time favourite Bret Hart. It's more annoying than anything that literally the next set introduced the new "old school" belts. If this had the right belt it'd be near perfect.

I'll say this till they actually do it, but Jakks made better Bret Hart's than Mattel. I've owned a couple Bret's by Mattel, the Ultimate Edition being the most recent, but I still maintain that Jakks efforts were better.

I was so hyped for the new Survivor Series Elite in the SS '96 attire, then we saw the head scan used and that was a big disappointment so I've passed on it. Ugh!
