Holy crap, this sucks. He was always my favorite Weekend Update anchor. I didn't even know he had cancer. RIP.

I noticed he looked a bit bloated for the past few years. He said it was a side effect from medication he was taking.
I had no idea he had cancer. Very sad.

He was definitely one of my favorites. Loved his delivery and deadpan humor, very recognizable, distinct voice. Never shied away from trying to make anyone do a double take and realize what they just laughed at.
Still currently watched a lot of his stuff on YouTube and love him as Pigeon on Mike Tyson Mysteries.

He was really good. Definitely had that Kaufmanish bizarre quality to his antics (his stuff on The View where he "attacked" Bill Clinton was really out there), loved his work on SNL too. I also remember a Comedy Central Roast where he was purposely bad, that was wild. Just great all the way around, gone way too soon.

Very sad. Despite being great in and at pretty much everything he ever did I think my favorite Norm moments was as a guest on Conan's various shows. An hilarious man.

Man, I was blindsided by this today. Unbelievably sad. I was just thinking about Norm yesterday and was just in absolute disbelief when I saw the headline. Life really does turn on a dime out of nowhere.

Anyone remember the YouTube Comedy awards or something similar to that? Anyways, it was years ago and Norm was one of the panelists introducing people on the red carpet and he absolutely gave the YouTubers the hardest time, and didn't take it seriously at all. Just wrecked their big night in the funniest way possible. I recommend checking that out if you get the chance
