The Return of Iron Maiden

I just got the new Iron Maiden album on both cd and Vinyl and have been enjoying it very much this band just doesn't seem to get old even after 40 some odd years its getting rave reviews and selling very well

I prefer the post 2000 Maiden over the previous albums. I love their longer story driven songs. Give me Paschendale over Number Of The Beast any day. Can I Play With Madness? I’ll have The Talisman instead.

Senjutsu took a few listens for me to like it. Even then, I don’t rate it as high as their previous albums. I’ve found that a lot of the songs will have an awesome section but the rest is kinda average in comparison. Like rather than listening to the full Hell On Earth song, I’ll skip to the extremely catchy chorus in the middle.

The title track and Days Of Future Past would be my fave songs from the album.

Listened through it today... Not for me.

I have never been a huge Maiden fan, but I can get into their classics, Fear of the Dark etc. But this album does nothing for me. It's abit like Ozzy's latest. "Yep it sounds like x, but I have heard better from x."
