Without getting into the topic of mortality or anything serious like that, what are some things you’d say are on your personal bucket list? I made a list made a list last night of everything I want to do before I turn 40. Not that I think I’ll only live to 40, I just like the idea of life deadlines. I turn 33 next month so I figure these are all possible.
The 40 Bucket-list
Visit every continent (4 to go) At least half National Parks Hold a panda Canada Take a cruise See Pyramids See Great Wall Of China Learn a second language Attend a Summer-slam and a Survivor Series Deep sea diving India with Ani(best friend who is from there Die in horror movie Visit “Miracle” Stay in Stanley Hotel Visit Quick Stop Visit Rocky Statue

Meet Shane McMahon Sit ringside at a major wrestling show again WDW Mega Vacation Visit the Titanic Museum in Belfast Visit 221B Baker Street (the Sherlock Holmes Museum) Go to a homecoming game at my Alma Mater in Ohio Either buy or make the entire lineup for the Wrestlemania X7 Shane vs Vince match in figure form Complete my collection of Classic Doctor Who DVDs Go back to NYC and see at least three more Broadway Show. Learn how to grill See Billy Joel in concert Lose 200 pounds so I can live long enough to do all this stuff
BTW: I actually knocked one of the items off this list last year. Prior to 2020 I had "Learn how to play the Pokemon TCG" on the list and, as it turned out, the local card shop had sessions where you could learn how to play the game. I went, learned the game, played a few rounds and TADA! Checkmark for the bucket list.

As someone from Northern Ireland, I can tell you the Titanic Museum is great - Even if I did get yelled at on our school trip there in 2013 for using "offensive language" while venting my frustrations about Punk losing the WWE Title the night before...

This is pretty boring, but I just want to go to America (New York in particular) just for the experience. There's quite a few places I'd love to visit there, but I've just never been.

I'd like to do some thrill stuff, like bungee jumping, sky dive and visit a few more theme parks, etc. Also a few sex things that I'm sure most people have.
Has anyone ever really wanted to do something, but decided against it? Like, I'm 33 now, and I've always wanted to visit New York (I'm in Ireland). Grew up with NY on TV, in videogames, etc. etc. and always wanted to go. Always loved the idea of the twin towers and thought they were so iconic. Then obviously 9/11 happened, and although I am not one to be afraid of terrorist attacks occurring or anything like that, I felt it kinda took the shine off the place a bit.
Now that I've gotten older, anytime I see NY appearing in videos, it's just 90% political nonsense and people being dicks just for the sake of it. Kinda makes me feel like i'd rather not go to NY, and imagine it'd be a wonderful experience, rather than actually go and end up hating it.
Although my comment is very NY/location based, has anyone had similar thoughts about anything on their bucket list?

I grew up with my grandfather and watched shows like Matlock all the time. We also went to Ocean City MD (in our state) about once a year when I was a kid. I'm pretty simple, like Andy Griffith moving Matlock to North Carolina and doing several beach episodes, I would love to move to OC or at least visit the beach towns of North Carolina. I also have distant family in NC I visit but it's the country part of the state. So everything combined makes my bucket list.

Never thought about this. I’ll start one now and be ambitious:
-Visit every country in the world at least once -See the Cubs win the pennant live -Meet Rob Van Dam/Christian -Have somebody tell me I’m a good actress (unironically)
