One year three separate people bought me the Harry Potter boxset. That was pretty memorable. Flash forward about a decade, decade and a half, and I didn't have any of the sets anymore so I had to ask for it for Christmas again lol.

I dont really remember a lot of stuff and they all kinda of run together. Then again as I get older we start to lose people and the traditions change. While I still enjoy the time I spend with my family these days I do miss seeing my grand-parents, my aunt, & my brother that have all passed as well as the family who have also gone on to have their "own" families.

Best one I can remember is from when I was 13. I lived in a small town in Canada and we went to Disneyland with my parents AND grandparents.
I only got 1 other gift but it was a Wayne Gretzky rookie card.
2 pretty great gifts and an amazing memory of my family!

Would be hard to pick just one, I've had a few good ones over the years that I look back fondly on.
My first 'wrestling Christmas' as a fan was 1998. I had wanted the Jakks Raw Is War mini ring set for months and finally getting to open it and play with it that morning after weeks of looking at the box before it got wrapped was surreal, I also got the Royal Rumble set and a whole bunch of other stuff. We went down stairs to my cousins' and auntie's house and all hung out that day. I remember falling asleep in their house and waking up at 4am back upstairs in my own house on the couch and watching my South Park video.
2003 my first Christmas as a wrestling fan again after I stopped watching from 2002 to 2003. Got the Jakks Elimination Chamber, Here Comes The Pain, some WWE PPV DVDs and a bunch of other stuff.
2005. Got the entire RA 16.5 set, the RA Shannon Moore figure, CS8 80's Hogan, SD Vs Raw 2006, Royal Rumble 2005 on DVD and bunch of other stuff. Woke up at 5am and my mum was still in the living room with her friend's so it was like an early morning party before they left and my mum went to sleep and I got the living room to myself for the morning before they all came back around and went round to her friend's house that night. I stuffed my face that night, fell asleep, woke up the next morning and went across to my house to get my money and went into town and bought wrestling DVDs and figures.
2018. My first Christmas with my girlfriend.
2019. Another Christmas with her. She was always so good to me with presents and I like to think I was too.
2020. The last Christmas I spent with my girlfriend before she split up with me earlier this year.

I have really enjoyed reading the stories that you guys have shared so I thought I would share one of my own.
Christmas 2011
This was the first Skylanders Christmas. My son at the time was 4 and over the last couple of months, all of the kid's channels here in the UK were bombarded with ads for Skylanders. My son was already playing video games at this time as I am a huge gamer myself. However, Skylanders was the first thing that really caught his eye. It was what he asked Santa for and he was so excited to finally get the chance to play this game. We picked up the starter pack for the Xbox 360, a few figures, the pirate level pack and he was set. Then on December 23rd, my wife and I were in town doing some last minute Christmas shopping and I just had a vision that this Skylanders thing was going to be massive this Christmas and the figures would be like gold dust after Christmas as kids will have gotten the starter pack and then want the figures.
In a moment of madness, I went into Grainger Games (fellow UK peeps remember them?) and I bought 10 (yes 10) Skylanders, I bought all that they had. Some will say that was spoiling my son, I did not care he was and is a great kid, does well at school, does his chores, and is polite so spoiling him at Christmas time has done ho harm. However, the look on his face as he opened figure after figure was so worth it. He thought Santa was only getting him the starter pack and this character Eruptor. He was so overcome with emotion that he was crying! Buying all those figures was a smart move on my part as these figures in the UK were so hard to find for the next couple of months!
The next six Christmases would be dominated by Skylanders in my house and I will not lie, I am sad that it is gone. My son has since outgrown Skylanders, but we have all of the figures (we have complete sets for the first three games and most of the stuff for the other three) in the attic and I will never throw it out. I have a feeling that one day when he is older, he will be happy I kept all his Skylanders stuff.

When you get to be around my age you tend to have forgotten more about Christmas pasts than you can remember unfortunately…. LoL
