I hope it's good. The movies in recent years have always felt a bit off. Like you can tell what they were going for but none of them hit the mark. At the very least we still have Brad Dourif doing the voice. The day that man can't do the voice is the day all remakes of the series should end entirely.

I loved the last couple of movies and I’m glad they get to continue the story with this. Supposedly this show takes place in the future after the events of the second movie. Not sure if that means they are going to disregard anything that has happened in the Child’s Play universe beyond that but I wouldn’t be opposed to them just doing a new story all together. I’ve read they are going to bring Alex Vincent back in as Andy again but I think that’s a bad idea. It was neat for nostalgia in the last recent Chucky movies but the guy just isn’t a good actor. |

Apparently they took a lot of time and the writers compared it to Hannibal (the show.) Child's Play was never one of my favorites, but I hope this is done well. I'd like for more horror on tv.

I love Child's Play and I'm all for this series. Even the ones I used to hate like Seed I've warmed up to in recent years (Curse is for sure the worst out of all 7 movies and that's sayin a lot). I'm with Valbroski though as I just wish Justin Whalen was Andy here instead of Alex Vincent. Nothing against the guy. I love how in the last movie he basically keeps original Chucky in a box and tortures him in private while he goes out on Tinder dates haha.
I skipped the remake but I'll watch basically anything Child's Play at this point!

The first episode aired last night. I liked it for the most part but some parts were stupid. I also wish they would just release all the episodes at once like most shows do now.

Binge watching is one of the major problems poisoning pop culture! Enjoy the wait man! The last time I even cared about something coming out with any sort of build or anticipation was Twin Peaks in 2017 and that was for sure because of it being a weekly series. Haven't watched this yet but I will tonight and will report back! |

Lots of fun things and moments so far after two episodes. Easy to forget some of the wooden acting/dialogue because the soapy approach and the way Chucky is being implemented is a lot of fun. I can't believe this even exists haha

I can't believe this even exists haha I’m a little concerned for myself that I can watch Chucky kill a house keeper then think it’s charming that he’s being supportive to a kid whose getting bullied but I’ve made peace with it. |
