I didn’t know Adam page had a uterus. Again he can do whatever he wants, but fans are back now. Kinda blowing it. The take that men shouldn't take a paternity leave to spend time with their wives and newborn babies is one of the weirder perspectives I've ever heard... That's about the nicest way I can phrase that. Pretty sure the overwhelming majority of aew fans are willing to be happy for him having a kid and welcome him back to dethrone Omega when he returns. Unfortunately a lot of fans are selfish.

Wow. That may be one of my favorite nights of professional wrestling. Everything, from top to bottom, just felt special. Looking at the talent, top to bottom, and across divisions, this is just an absurdly stacked roster. And you still have guys like Jungle Boy, Ricky Starks, Cage, and others who haven't really had their time to shine yet. It's been wild watching the evolution from rumor and "tshirt company" jokes to an absurd collection of talent. Really looking forward to seeing what they do in the coming months.

This whole ex-WWE thing is still an argument? If the point began and ended there, then yes, most of AEW’s talent were in WWE a year ago. HOWEVER, these are people who were lost in the shuffle mostly, and people for whom the writing was very much on the wall. Cole had done all that he could in NXT and didn’t want to go to be ruined on the main roster, Rusev was a joke comedy act, Black was given the start/stop plug-in wherever treatment and immediately pulled from angles, they wouldn’t use Christian at all, Matt Hardy was used as a jobber, Ruby was jobbing left and right, Bryan wanted more out of the twilight of his career (although he was treated well), Mox wanted to do death matches and non-inane promos, and Jericho is a bonified legend who chose to help the fledgling company after doing all he could in 20+ years for WWE.
This is not TNA where they literally signed every and any washed-up has-been (Nash, Hall, Booker, Hogan, Flair, Steiner, D-Von, D-Lo, Nasty Boys, Foley, RVD, Sami Callihan, Dreamer, Sabu, etc..) or never-was former wrestler from anywhere and made them champions for the sole purpose of faking big time til they made it big time (which was never going to happen). AEW is signing mostly top tier talent who were being underutilized, were unhappy with their treatment, or who felt unfulfilled by their careers. The only has-beens AEW signed were Big Show and Mark Henry (arguably Matt Hardy too). None of them are positioned towards the top, nor are they full-time wrestlers (if they wrestle at all). I don’t count Christian or Punk, who are looking for career redemption. I don’t count Sting since he’s mostly a manager/mentor who barely wrestles, but is used well. Most of who they signed they would’ve been foolish not to take.
I’ve said this before. I’m not WWE bashing. I will ALWAYS love WWE, but I need a breath of fresh air. The way that AEW presents their show is a breath of fresh air. The way they treat Legends is a breath of fresh air. The way that they treat some of my favorites that I felt could’ve done so much more (Black, Ruby, Miro, Brodie Lee) is a HUGE breath of fresh air. This is of course just my opinion, and you might disagree, but right now I want nothing but major success for AEW.

This is of course just my opinion, and you might disagree, but right now I want nothing but major success for AEW. I couldn't agree with you more. But the real beauty to me is that they *haven't done anything revolutionary*! For the most part their booking is Pro Wrestling 101 and it absolutely works. Using old timers as mouthpieces who the audience knows to get over new/unfamiliar talent? Booking wrestlers to be strong in a defeat, or racking up wins? Or playing to someone's strengths and minimizing their weaknesses? They're time tested and straight forward. It may not be what fans have been conditioned towards over the past 20 years. But AEW hasn't tried to reinvent the wheel, and I think that's a big part of the secret sauce that companies like TNA or even ROH, Wrestling Society X, and others missed over the years. It's pro wrestling for pro wrestling fans. And in today's media environment, that should be more than enough to bring in a pile of cash.

Just finished watching All Out. A few thoughts:
- Miro vs Eddie Kingston, Moxley vs Kojima and Punk vs Allin my top 3 matches of the night, with Punk vs Allin number 1. Great to see Punk back doing what he does best. - The tag title match was good in spots, but man some of it is just too choreographed for my liking. The spot where they all did kip-ups and superkicks was so stupid and made me shake my head at how ridiculously planned it looked. The Young Bucks play to their crowd like few others, but they're just not for me. - Ruby Soho winning the battle royal was cool. - Omega vs Christian probably one of my favourite Omega matches, but that's all down to how incredible Christian still is at 48. - I get what they were going for at the end with the 2 surprise debuts, but man, lumping Adam Cole in with the oversized goofy Elite has already killed him for me, I already don't care. Also, guess Tony couldn't get the rights to The Final Countdown, but still awesome to see Bryan.
Overall, 8/10 show. Good stuff.

Also, one point I forgot to make: - MJF/Jericho: I hate it when they have 1 ref tell another ref what they missed so they can restart the match. Just makes you question why a 2nd ref doesn't always come down to call out cheating and such.

I hope(and it’s very possible) that this week’s dynamite breaks their record in viewership. The first episode did what? 1,410,000? This weeks show can feasibly break that. A lot of people will want to see Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson’s next moves and what they have to say.

If Jericho was going over, which he did, why not just have it be clean since it was being billed as their "final battle"

The show is in Cincinnati and those crowds traditionally are always hot so the atmosphere should be electric. The TV numbers will also be huge with the fallout.

I didnt understand that at all. If Jericho was going over, which he did, why not just have it be clean since it was being billed as their "final battle" Since the beginning, Jericho had always been (kayfabe) critical of Aubrey. Questioning her judgment and such. So I believe it was a story element they attempted, that Jericho's in-ring career would come at an oversight from her. She was confronted about it, took the professional route and admitted her error, and gave Jericho the second chance. Keep in mind Jericho has been very supportive of Edwards irl, so I'd bet this was something Chris pitched himself.

It just makes the refs look incompetent. Where was the second ref to tell the one Miro kicked Eddie in the junk? After he was messing with the pad.
