They could work from home via the computer. Literally able to check all day and be paid for it. I work from home and use a computer. The funny thing is you actually have to work. Even if you work from home you still have to do work and can't just stare at a screen refreshing all day. These things come up with no advance warning and people are somehow on them and then selling on eBay immediately. Exactly I work from home as well and you actually do have to work. Moreover I have double monitors just for work. No way I can be on Amazon or Target refreshing all day.

So Hogan was up at a random time for like 2 minutes? Fantastic! Reveals don't really matter anymore since you're not guaranteed an opportunity to get the product.
I think Mattel should come out with a new line and call it "WWE Scalper Takeover". Sgt. Slaughter and Hogan can be the first in the series.
its basically the whole legends line now... lol . made exclusive to scalpers.

I was able to get one Hogan and two Jeffs for myself about six weeks ago when this set went up on Amazon by mistake. My orders were never canceled so they must be valid. I was really lucky to grab them because I know how frustrating this is for everyone. I hate that feeling of missing out on figures.
Surprisingly, I was able to grab a friend and extra Jeff last night before it was sold out again. I checked Hogan almost right when it went up, and it was already sold out.
I don't even understand how a company like Amazon is selling out within minutes of an item. I don't think this is really even a scalper problem. This seems to me more like a distribution problem. Even *if* everyone is buying the maximum amount per account (3 of each), I think a platform like Amazon should be ready to take orders and have the product available. Just my two cents.
Good luck everyone! They'll be up again. If I happen to run across them, I'll just order a few more of them and reach out on here and give it to whoever wants it for the price + shipping.

We have a Twitter account where we will tweet out when products are available online. Probably not the frequency as some others, but pretty frequent.
Typically, we will know when products hit because we have Twitter and IG alerts for some select accounts that will catch most drops. When they post, we get a push notification, then we share. We never refresh webpages. We have no bots. No software that helps.
We also share information on how you can use Brickseek and Popfindr to find products.
Why do we share it? Because scalpers DON’T. They’d rather that type of information be kept as tight as possible so they can clean up as much as they can. Logging into multiple accounts to scoop products that have quantity limits, etc.
Our little group of people that helps with our account feels like it’s the ONLY way to help individual collectors. If you look at our posts - last night with Hulk and Hardy for example - there are typically a handful of “thank you” replies from collectors that were able to scoop them. Could they be scalpers too? Maybe. But we’d like to think not.
In fact, 100% of the time, we SHARE before WE buy. It’s actually what cost us Slaughter on SDCC day.
You are going to have a hard time convincing us this is adding to the “problem”. We’d argue it’s one of the only tools in the arsenal to help.

What's funny is that most of the sellers on the bay normally scalp sneakers

This whole Hogan situation drives me nuts. I ordered Hardy from UK and i hope Hogan shows up too. It would be cool if Steve could say when he shows up again.

I wonder how many scalpers are reading these comments?

I follow plenty of accounts that post when figures go up for sale. It has nothing to do with scalpers. I understand people are frustrated about this but the blame is not on the accounts that let collectors know when an item is live. I appreciate those people a lot and I have gotten a lot of figures by enabling notifications on Twitter and Instagram.

I can be more detailed if you need help.

Ya'll do a service for me because I don't have those alerts set up, and I follow a select few people on Twitter (you being one of them). I've been able to get so much stuff I would have definitely otherwise missed thanks to you.
I read that post calling--not specifically--you and so many others who I think are awesome "problems," and, well, I couldn't disagree more.
Thanks for all you do.

Ugh, I'm so over Mattel at this point. I guess I'm not getting that Hogan then, because I'm damn sure not giving those fat, greazy, bloated, virginal, cheese-smelling neck beards on eBay a cent more than Amazon's price. As for Mattel, call me when you release an Ultimate WWF-era Hogan that doesn't suck. The stubble and that horribly overused HOF head make this figure not that great, even though the skin tone is finally spot on. I'm a Hogan guy, so I wan't this figure, but at the end of the day, thanks to the head re-use, it's a pretty lazy "Ultimate" effort. STOP USING THE SAME THREE DAMN HEADS!!!!

Amazon didn't want one of the best selling characters of all time for their exclusive line so they could make it a limited edition LOL. There will be plenty of these!
