I hated to do it, but I had to go to ebay to buy a Lion-O. I wasn't around for the Matty sale and I couldn't pretend anymore that I didn't need him.

Well thankfully even though he is scaling back? my guy on Ebay is continuing with his Thundercats/MOTUC subs. I bought Lion-O & General Sundar from him today.
I bought Sundar because he looks cool dammit and those extra trooper heads intrigue me. Has the rerelease of the Horde Trooper 2 pack been cancelled lads? If so it'll be a DAMN pity. I was gonna trick around with some of those extra heads

Anyone else order (or plan on ordering) the MOTU Ultimates from Super7? There's Skeletor, He-Man, Teela, Faker and Ram Man... The first four have additional heads/accessories. They just went on sale today on S7's site, and I got my order in the second that they went live! Super7's News Article About The MOTU UltimatesNa, Ive got all the original variants and Im not paying all that money just for a few new head sculpts and stuff. Being from the UK I have to take in shipping and customs charges and It just isnt worth it. I plan on continuing the filmation line in 2017 if Super7 renew that and hopefully the thundercats. But I might just cherry pick MOTUC in the new year rather than subbing which ive done in previous years. |

I didn't order Panthro until about 2:15 est. I ended up spending a lot more than I expected because Matty lowered their prices even further on their older toys. Most of the MOTUC figures, DC, and Ghostbusters are under $15.
Today's buys: Panthro, Rio-Blast, He-Ro II, Clamp Champ, Mara, Shokoti, BG Teela, and the Talon Fighter. I had to hold myself back from buying more of those secondary MOTUC characters. I would've liked Anti-Eternia He-Man but he was sold out.

It's a Christmas Miricle! Matty ships an order within 4 days of placing it! Usually it is two weeks before I receive a shipping notification email. But I received one for Panthro last night.

Got my one ship Thundercats on Christmas Eve. Needless to say, this was a dream come true for me as a collector. Thundercats were easily in my top 5 favorite toys from when I was a kid. Everything about these are just awesome. The Kit and Kat are from earlier in the year, but this is everything together. Staying positive that Super 7 keeps these going. What a crime against humanity it will be if we don't at least get Tygra and Cheetara. I do plan to open all of these. Lion-O is a double, so I'll keep him MOC, but all of these will be freed from their plastic prison within the next week or two.    |

Love that they are delving into concept stuff. I might get Quake too. Lodar is a pass and Hawke is a maybe. I am hoping Nocturne & Sagitar(toon head) make it from New Adventures. Really busting for some Thundercats news now.....

The Thundercats line had so much potential to be great. I was hoping for at least Vultureman, Tygra, Cheetara, amongst a few others for a 2nd year.
