That's your best photo of him yet, PJ. Just awesome. Being that Wave 1 of the Super 7 Thundercats were delayed a few times, is it safe to assume that Wave 2 will not likely come by end of year as spamS has them listed? I suppose anything is possible, but I know I'm not betting on it. |

Pre-ordered Lynx-o today. was tempted by Pumm Ra but they are too f*ckin expensive for impulse purchases. You can say that again. I just got wave one, and they're nice (warts and all), but I don't think I can keep going with the line. So much money required. I might just try for the Cats and main mutants. Even Snowman, who I liked as a kid and had the figure of, seems not worth it. Same with Grune, who I didn't have but have always liked. At 30 or 35 I could justify it somehow, but I collect too much other stuff for 45 a pop. It's just the cats for me pal. Have Lion-O, Panthro & Pumy-Ra from the Mattel line. Have Tygra, Cheetarah, Grune, Lynx-O & Jaga pre-ordered. Just Ben Gali for the win.... |

I have Lion-o and Panthro from Mattel and I have Tygra preorder. I will probably get Cheetarah and maybe Mumm-Ra and call it a day.

Besides the extra head and accessories the Thundercats logo on the Super-7’s belt is a little more detailed. And the Super-7 uses darker colored paints than Mattel’s...   |

PJ thanks for the comparison pics. I have Panthro, Lion-0 & Pumyra so I wasnt going to rebuy at this price point. All I need now is a Bengali reveal & Ill be happy out!!

I almost got Scare Glow, Trap Jaw, and Man-E-Faces yesterday on Walmart.com but they sold out before I could complete my transaction. Amazon canceled my preorder for Scare Glow this morning, too, though that wasn't a surprise. Any idea when Super 7 Thndercats wave 2 will ship? I wanna order these from bigbadtoy sooo bad but not until they are in stock...any ideas? I haven't heard anything definite about shipping for Wave 2 Thundercats Ultimates, but Wave 1 took almost a year exactly despite Super7 saying they were hoping for a few months when we preordered (like they always seem to do  ). |

Has there been any hint as to when the Super7 Thundercats Wave 2 might come around? How far off was Wave 1 from its original release date? I think it was about 10 or 11 months, but I preordered from Big Bad, so it might have been a touch longer. |

Conan Ultimates Wave 2 Conan "War-paint", Thulsa Doom "Demigod Serpent". They look pretty decent, wave 1 should be shipping very soon within the next week or so.

I'm more than a little shocked that first Mattel and now Super 7 haven't made him yet. They have to know how major he is for fans/collectors, so maybe they're holding on to him for some heavy firepower later into the line after the main 'Cats are done. But, like Tygra, it can't happen soon enough. |

I want to preface this comment by saying I’m absolutely buying the Thunder Tank. It’s incredible it’s happening, and, along with Cat’s Lair, it’s the piece I think of first when I think Thundercats.
That said, from a business perspective, I’m not sure what Brian was thinking. $450 plus shipping is a lot to ask of this community. Cats is a niche property. The popularity just doesn’t exist the way it does for something like He-man. I say that as someone who passionately loved the LJN figures as a kid.
I have to believe they could have done something smaller and more affordable. It’s like Snake Mountain. It’s huge, to scale, but it’s not functional. If I’m being honest, part of this reveal has been ruined by the fact I’m stressing about how to display this thing. I’m sure plenty of others are stressing over what will be a nearly $500 price point.
If you’re keeping score at home, we’re at $1,170 for the 16 figures and a vehicle, and that’s before tax and shipping. And we don’t even have Bengali... haha. My heart hurts for Cats collectors who aren’t going to buy this thing because of the decision to make it so big and expensive. The disappointed fans shouldn’t be in the majority, and it kind of seems like that’s the case.
