It's weird that you're eating so much sh*t for this post. I know WF likes to play the whole pretentious deck when talking about music, but mayyyyybe with the exception of the Black Album (which is stellar in its own right and an integral piece of my own library), every one of these albums is practically synonymous with the 90s. Yeah, they're all MaInStReAm and I could just as easily put together a hundred albums from the same decade I like more, but nobody is going to do a broad piece on 90s culture and talk about some of the obscure releases being thrown about here. They're going to talk about 3/4 of these albums, plus the apparent horror to some people that is the boy-band wave, Britney and Christina, so on, and so forth. Your poll is closed, but in terms of personal preference, it probably goes: Dookie Black Album Nevermind Ten I'd be salty too if I considered the Black Album "stellar" and it was an "integral piece" of my own library. Lol not to mention put Dookie above that. Careful...don't cut yourself on that edge. Who's actually still trying to use subjective interests to bring others down in 2021? I thought most of us left that sh*t in middle school...high school, at best.

It's a discussion forum, not an MLA paper. I never understood why people use the "I didn't say those exact words" defense when somebody paraphrases their words and actions.

I ended the convo on a good note...and you still got butthurt.

Try to not take it so personally. Kinda weird that you keep trying to bring back around to the conversation and how well you ended it, but you queued up this entire back and forth by dunking on my subjective tastes. Sorta weakens the high ground.

No, Gatekeeper is a different band entirely LOL I've never gotten Metallica, man. I love them, like, unabashedly. I can find something I like on every album they've released (yes, even that one). Different things have taken time to grow on me, and yeah, there's definitely a disparity of styles across their discography, but I don't feel like they've ever let me down, at least on the strictly releasing music front. People - more specifically, their self proclaimed fans - seem to drag them over everything. I finally got to see them on the Hardwired tour (you know, that thing they do to promote new albums), and people got all hot and bothered because they dedicated five out of eighteen songs to the new record. I guess I see the ties to wrestling, after all.

Pearl Jam has been my favorite band since I was 14, so I'll go with Ten easily.
