ive been a lifelong wrestling fan and all around collector. as a kid i had a pretty sizeable collection amassed of BCA, Toybiz, TTL, R3 and RA figures; cant quite recall but im sure it reached well over 5-700 wrestling figures at one point.i had my own pic fed and even photoshopped a magazine/dirtsheet for it 😅 sometime in 2008-2009 my interests shifted to other hobbies and i took to ebay and sold off absolutely everything. i didnt even watch wrestling but i always kept up on wrestling news and always had a vague idea of what was going on. i think i started tuning back in around the time of RAW 1000 because i kept reading that there were gonna be legends returning and i was really excited to see what CM Punk had gotten up to. so in 2012 i was bitten by the bug again and started collecting the Mattel line. the figures were SO MUCH better than the RA/ Deluxe RA line i had left with. Here are a few pics from my Second WWE collection, sadly i no longer own any of these 😥: for the life of me i cant remember his name but there was a customizer on ebay that i established a great relationship with and i commissioned MANY figures from him. i commissioned these customs from member classicdas. in this picture the Yellow trunks, Red trunks, Chicago trunks and black and white were all commissions. Here are some more customs i purchased, this batch was made by a few different customizers. The Sean O'Haire custom on the right was MY crown jewel. im a huge Sean O Haire mark and i was way over the moon to own that one. more elite CM Punks-i think these are all factory except for kneepad swaps ECW roster members. my custom TAZ and Sandman were works of art, really miss those looking at this photo. that sandman was freakin epic Cactus jack and mankind. i was really proud of owning these because i was never able to own a mick foley when i was growing up Big Bossman and a Custom attitude era bossman. this photo is from 2013, so way before we would see one in the elite line. DM Steve Austin, Legends, RSC Exc my Machs. Yep you bet i sold them like a fool less than a year later. i remember paying out the arse for these two!!! Outsider Nash was the jewel of my factory elites. i always loved the look of that attire, just wish i didnt pay so much for them. i didnt see a return on my investment on the Diesel, but i think i made enough back when i sold my outsider Nash. my Takers. the SDCC taker was actually the first elite i bought back in 2012 that sparked this era of my collecting. i had bought the DM taker brand new and sold him with the wings. dont think i made as much selling him back then as he goes for now. Muta and Sting Starrcade Commissions my beloved Road Warriors. those belts never left their waists. my CM Punks those were just a few snapshots of my most prized from that era of my collecting. in early 2014 i unfortunately underwent a life changing trauma and had to start selling my collection. i DO remember the very last figure that i had ordered and gotten delivered was RVD elite, only kept him for a few weeks and he had to be moved on. everything was sold. over the next few years things stabilized, i battled (and still do to this day) severe clinical depression, so as time moved on i started having more good than bad days and started getting back into hobbies and interests that made me feel happy. the Star Wars franchise helped that process immensely as the Mandalorian dropped it re-ignited my love for THAT franchise and i slowly started getting back into collecting their line of Black Series 6" figures. i rediscovered my love for figures and i kept peeking at the WWE elite line to see who had been made in my absence. i saw alot of figures that i really wanted but still felt some level of apprehension about getting back into the line. Back in March, frankly while celebrating 3/16 drinking some broken sull IPAs, watching a rip of the old Stone Cold VHS 'Cause Stone Cold Said SO, i found myself on Ringside Collectibles website again, after many years, placing a Stone Cold Ultimate edition in my cart. That opened up the floodgates and ive been on an absolute TEAR since then and its safe to say my collection is looking healthy again, finger crossed i wont be looking to sell them for quite some time this go around 😁 THIS TIME, im gonna try to pass on figures that ive already previously owned--unless its an absolute steal of a price. in some cases im obviously going to be forced to pass on them due to ridiculous prices. id like to share my receivings in this thread with some pics and a short review of each. thanks for reading all this 😎 hopefully, this will spark joy within all of us.

the first figure i felt would be fitting to review is the Defining Moments Phenom UndertakerSo, my story with this figure was that way back in the day when i was a kid, i would have crap luck when fig hunting because i was at the mercy of my parents for rides to the store. they never wanted to take me specifically for toys, so id have to wait until we went family grocery shopping and i would always be left with 'table scraps' on the pegs. there were a few ultra rare occasions that we went and i found something really good; one such occasion was during the TTL era. i got to the aisle right after a fresh stock, the pegs were FULL. shuffled through the first peg, nothing exciting, then in the next peg, all the way in the back was the PHENOM TAKER!! i lost my mind and raced to the checkout as if someone was actively going to mug me for the figure on my way to the registers. i had a great time using that taker in my fed, even though he lacked elbow articulation, which was weird because IIRC that time the TTL line evolved to have elbow articulation. anyways, the second +1 this taker has is that back in 2012 when i started my second collection, the SDCC Phenom Undertaker was my first purchase. I loved this era of Taker, when he went full on Luciferian with the gimmick. There is also a really great promo pic of taker wearing this gear and he looks like the the incarnation of the dark lord rather than the dead man. the shoulder pads; with that bat wing styling and the softgoods cape is what really makes this Dark Lord attire- very reminiscent of the Sith Lords in Star Wars. the chestplate with dragonscale design also gives off a Dark Warrior vibe; if i saw this guy lumbering across a battlefield i would 10/10 avoid at all costs. another reason i love this figure and this attire design are all of the unique sculpts. the chest sculpt, boots, and even at the time the headsculpt were all unique to this look. theyve since used the head on a few other era takers i think. i do prefer the SDCC no pupil taker over this taker with pupils, but im stupendously grateful they re-released this look in the DM line because everyone needed a fair chance to get this version in their collection. i picked up this taker on ebay loose for around $30 which i deemed fair, and he is minty. all joints function smoothly; nothing is either too loose or tight. anyone else have a special spot for this Phenom Taker? Rest In Peace 💀☠💀

Those customs were sick! Sad to hear that you let them go. I really liked the look of those Punks, Tazz, and Sandman. Hopefully you can fully rebuild your collection back up to it's former glory!
I'm so lucky to have kept my SDCC Taker, along with all my other childhood wrestling figures. Being a hoarder and not selling off/giving away old toys actually pays off in the long run!

MonsoonMan -- this was a GREAT post. I liked seeing the pictures -- but just wanted to give you some emotional support. I'm so sorry to hear about the trauma -- but from the way you write in general, and about that in particular -- it seems like you're a really well-adjusted person who was able to cope. I'm actually going through some stuff right now -- and I'd never expect to find it on a wrestling figure board, but a great reminder that sometimes when things feel like they're going to be down forever, they will rise again. Thanks for this post -- and would love to see some photos of the new collection...

Thanks dude! 😎 i do remember when i initially started selling things off, i didnt even entertain the idea of selling my customs because most of them were personal commissions, and frankly they were all REALLY well done. as life happens though, i needed money more than figures at the time so, they moved on. looking at these pictures again i do wonder (and hope) that they all ended up in good collections...and if anyone on the forums ended up with any of them, please let me know 😁 and yeah-------dont ever sell your stuff, folks. 10/10 one of my biggest regrets is not having any of my original toys. New Reviews and stories to share! Hardy Boyz Brood i bought this two pack the instant i saw that it was still available on Ringside. Ive never been able to own this incarnation of the Hardy Boys but it is one of my top favorite. i remember back in the day i had a subscription to ToyFare magazine and they did a great article about the debut of the TTL series. i love championship belts, but the issue with collecting BCAs is that they never came with championship belts and in this article about the new TTL series, i saw the SHINY NEW championship belts that were coming out and the Hardy Boyz were shown wearing their Brood attire and they came with a new tag belt. never saw the two pack in stores, but here we are over 20 years later i finally win lol Bret Hart vs Goldberg to be candid i mostly bought this 2 pack for the WCW era Goldberg however the included accessories also helped me pull the trigger on this purchase. Growing up, my Toybiz Goldberg was my workhorse figure, it was so much fun to play with. my original was really getting worn out from so much play and i remember my aunt came in clutch one christmas with a brand new toybiz Goldberg, it was the exact same figure but he came with a locker and a new championship belt in this pack(i think). i had a Jakks Goldberg in my second collection from the CS line but that figure SUCKED, holy cow that face sculpt was so dumb-whoever okayed that at jakks needs a jackhammer into their desk. im kindof 'ehhh' on this Bret Hart. im not so sure i dig the tone of his tights(cant even recall if he changed the tone of his attire when he DID go to WCW) and ive frankly always hated the hair strand in the face on the Bret figures. i like the round glasses they included and the chest plate is an ultra cool accessory, but i would have rather a softgoods jacket or jersey for bret would be better than a nitro tshirt. Defining Moments Kurt Angle bought this guy loose on ebay for around $25. its a great looking Kurt in one of my favorite attires he wore in the early stages of his career.i had the TTL version of this figure in my first collection, i believe mine was from the Uncovered line that was based on magazine covers. dont really have much else to say; its a great kurt figure that everyone should have in their collection. i do have the other gold medal for the figure, for some reason i didnt have it on him for this pic BRUNO SAMMARTINO the longest reigning World Champion! i remember when this figure debuted in the line but i cant remember if i was out of the game at the time or just didnt feel the need to buy one. i picked this guy up loose but minty on Mercari for $30 shipped and i felt like that was a killer deal over the $90 that everyone is asking for one MOC. he didnt come with the plaque or the podium, but i wasnt interested in those anyways-i found a seller on ebay that is making fantastic resin printed championship belts and im looking to buy an appropriate one for my Bruno. my first thought on this figure was that he is a CHONKY BOI lol bruno was a grizzly bear of a man, though and i think this figure captures him in his prime quite well. its really interesting for me seeing this figure amongst the rest of the modern era superstars i have because i start fantasy booking and wonder : Bruno vs Brock? Bruno vs Vader? Bruno vs Reigns? Bruno vs Goldberg? Bruno vs Daniel Bryan? hell, even Bruno vs Hogan or OH MAN Bruno vs Flair 🤯 ill be back tomorrow with some more Good Brother stories and reviews --- hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far, the weather is *chefs kiss out here in my locale today so i hope everyone else is able to enjoy some nice weather, good food and great company this weekend 🤘😎

Back then there really wasn’t much options. It’s a Jakks Funaki head. By the time I found out about Warsman, he wasn’t making anymore Muta heads

🎇HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY🎇 Eternally grateful for those who had the courage to serve and i recognize that their sacrifices, both past and present, provide me with the luxury to be able to live the life i do today. ONTO SOME REVIEWS Ultimate Edition BrockAs far as elite Brocks in the line, there really arent any special Brocks, IMO(other than the RSC flashback). Brocks appearances rarely ever change and the best they could do at the factory is give him different headscans. I was right in the midst of my second collection when brock returned to the wwe and i remember being a part of the frenzy to get his first BASIC figure, let alone the elite. i bought the ultimate edition from Ringside when i realized that no one else was stocking him. its a great figure, i dont like the shocked(?) face that they included and frankly the screaming head never looked great--but the ultimate edition chest articulation works great for Brocks physique. a great all around figure Outsider Scott HallSo this is another nostaglia bomb figure for me. i had gotten the Toybiz Outsiders 2 pack with Nash in red and Hall in this attire when i was younger, that Nash went on to become one of my all time favorite figures growing up--same with the Hall. that Scott Hall was so much fun to pose and play with, one day his right hand broke off😱 and i glued it and wrapped his wrist with white tape so it looked like a cast- in my fed, Scott Hall used that cast as a gimmick weapon in matches and---yeah that was fun fantasy booking, lol. Many years on i was able to retire that Toybiz figure when i found the R3 Scott Hall wearing this attire at the Kmart out of town, that figure was equally great to pose and play with. At first when shopping for the Elite Scott Hall, i genuinely though i was not gonna own this one because i was not thrilled with secondary prices. eventually i locked one in for $34 shipped MOC. Austin Ariesso yeah, i had to have The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived in my collection, i mean i had TWO customs of the guy in my last collection, so i need the official release. Disclaimer---i dont really care for the stuff the guy says outside of the ring... i just grew up watching A Double tear it up in ROH--becoming the first ever 2x ROH champion, his early years in TNA X division, and then finally capturing the TNA Championship. When he won that championship, CM Punk was in the midst of his championship run in WWE and i was just so stupid excited that BOTH of my favorite wrestlers were World Champions in their respective company and were killing it. this was another figure that when i was shopping around for i just didnt see me buying for what the secondary prices were going for. Eventually i found an auction for one MOC; entered my bid and frankly forgot about it until ebay told me i won, lol. ended up like $33 shipped, that was a steal. T.N.F Machoi may be in the minority here, but i liked the attire that Macho wore in WCW. the Black Gear and Silver stars was actually a great 'modern' take on Mach's look at the time. Lose the tassles, tie the hair back tight, tone down the colors, but still retain that 'rockstar' vibe he was reaching for. definite rose tinted glasses on but it did seem like a progression that made sense in terms of appearance--the gimmick, character and man at the time were something else though, lol. really scratching my brain here but i think as a kid i only had the Red and Black Toybiz Macho, no other Machos. i had more in my second collection but never picked up this incarnation of the look. i really like this figure, MINUS the rubber shirt-wouldve loved a jeff style mesh shirt with the stars printed, but i guess this wasnt planned to be a look fans would clamor for. the hat and chain look great on the figure. i scored this figure for $40 shipped MOC on ebay Lord Steven Regalim a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE regal fan. i loved his early style of working where he would just meticulously break down his opponents with this ultra intelligent level of technical and scientific wrestling. he would always break out suplexes and holds and submissions i had never seen anyone else do, i would give his matches 100% of my attention whenever he was on screen. this figure looks great! i had a TTL Regal in my 1st collection and then King Regal in my 2nd collection, THIS Regal is my favorite. i was fortunate to win this on ebay MOC for $15+shipping because the box was damaged. i know that this is a flashback version of regal from WCW, however i really think they should've tossed in the "power of the punch" hand accessory 👊😉 im having alot of fun sharing these---hopefully y'all are enjoying? im planning on sharing 5 figures a day before i get caught up on where im at in my collection now; my goal is that i hope that seeing my posts ignites a memory for whoever is reading and you might say "yeah, i forgot about what a great figure that is!" or maybe you forgot to add one to YOUR collection?, or maybe you have a story to share on a particular figure? regardless---im gonna get settled in and watch the new episode of the Broken Skull Sessions featuring the Godfather so in the meantime, ROLL A FATTY FOR THIS PIMP DADDY, LIGHT THAT STUFF UP AND SAY PIMPIN AINT EASYYYYYYYYYY 🤘

OKAY WELL after that badass episode of the broken skull session i kinda feel the need to expedite the next batch of reviews : Stunning Steve Austinthis is a great figure. Ive been a listener to the Steve Austin Podcast from its inception, so i am understandably a HUGE Steve Austin fan. its so wild hearing steve tell stories about working with Ricky Steamboat or Shane Douglas in WCW knowing the immense success he would see in later years. the Stunning Steve Character and run is a bit before my time--i never saw it take place in real time, but hearing the reverence Steve has for Brian Pillman makes this time of his career worth immortalizing.i picked this guy up on Amazon Prime for $19.99 Flashback Steve AustinGonna be real-1997-1998 Steve Austin is in my top tier of untouchable greatness. i had the VHS titled "'cause Stone Cold Said So!'" and i wore that mf out watching it while playing with my figs back in the day. one of the scenes that stuck with me for life was when we was cutting a promo or talking trash to vince and all the sudden his attention turns to a stagehand and he sternly says "AND YOU CAN QUIT COUNTING ME DOWN" and he grabs the guy and whips him into a ladder and throws stuff on him---as a kid that read as a shoot to me and i literally thought Stone Cold would whoop anyones ass at any given moment. another thing was the promo he cut on Bret Hart done in black and white with the barking dogs and the chainlink fence--you cant touch the venom in that promo. and lets not even get into the Pillman's Got A Gun segment where Steve whipped those jabronis in Pillmans front yard and then....yeah💀 picked up this figure on ebay for $30 shipped MOC Steve Austin Hall Of Famewow. so, when i was eyeball deep into collecting during my second collection, the Steve Austin wearing shorts was Magnum TA levels of UnObtanium. IIRC, there was a promo figure created for the legends line, but at the time Mattel put the KaBash on the legends line, so the Steve Austin wearing Jorts was all but a legend and myth--never to be released. Well, here we are years later 😂 i paid $45+shipping for this guy MOC on ebay B.O.A.E Stone Cold Steve Austinthe infamous Stone Cold University and Blue Strap World Championship 🤯 THIS was a moment in wrestling history. Personally i really enjoyed when they rolled out the contrasting colored straps: world was blue, IC was purple and the Euro was green. the Best of Attitude Era line is great in that it chose the characters and attires at really epitomized the moments of the era. i paid $49+shipping for this guy MOC. ive SEEN him listed for $100+ so......the $50 MOC seemed to make sense to me. NOW ONTO THE SUPREME SUBJECT OF THE POST KAMA MUSTAFA THE SUPREME FIGHTING MACHINE. we learned today that his first name breaks down to Kick.Any.Man's.Ass 😂 this particular gimmick was a frog's hair before my time as i tuned in when he was Kama in the Nation Of Domination, but holy cow what a great figure this is! the headscan and FX tech looks GREAT, plus they really nailed the color palette for the outfit. we got THE golden urn chain with this figure, which was a great accessory, i loved their casket match. this is honestly one of my favorite figs rn because of all the unique sculpts, they really went all out for KAMA. i picked up Kama for $50 shipped MOC on Mercari. at this point he can be had for less, but i got this guy when sellers were asking $60-70 MOC. The GodfatherITS TIME , ONCE AGAIN , FOR EVERYBODY TO COME ABOARD THE......HOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEE TTTTTTTRRRRRAAAAIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNN "NOW, we could fight right here in this ring right here, right now, and we---i know i would whoop your ass. BUT.. im a playa, im a pimp, SO im gonna offer you a choice. Either you and i can get down like they do on the streets, OR, ill let you pick from this fine batch of ladies i brought in tonight and you can do how they do in the sheets." i LOVED the Godfather character. that theme song was Gold; "waaaawwww wawww woooowwww wowwowwwoow......bmmmmm tssss" like the man said today on the broken skull podcast, it was a little voodoo child, it was a little porno groove. Godfather was over like rover and frankly you'll never see another character like him. I had Godfather on my radar for quite some time and frankly the ones that popped up loose always seemed to be missing one or two of the accessories, and at the prices people were asking for him--i decided i wanted one MOC. Godfather was consistently listed MOC at like $60-70 and that is really a range i dont feel comfortable buying figures at😂 i put one on my watchlist and one seller was gracious enough to send me a discounted offer that equaled out at $50 shipped MOC.

I love these posts -- and it's so cool to hear what you paid on the secondary market to know what these figs actually go for....

Same boat here man. Sold off lots of my collection with custom clothing and everything. Made a good chunk of change out of it, but now I got the bug again and trying to buy some figures I used to own again. The stuff they are coming out with now is crazy good. Ultimate edition is what got me back

Same boat here man. Sold off lots of my collection with custom clothing and everything. Made a good chunk of change out of it, but now I got the bug again and trying to buy some figures I used to own again. The stuff they are coming out with now is crazy good. Ultimate edition is what got me back thats what always keeps me coming back to collecting. like, i started with BCAs. you could move the legs, arm and waist. then TTLs came and we got Knee articulation. then they evolved to have Elbow articulation. we got a taste of the articulation we have today with the Finishing Moves series, but they didnt catch on right away. then the weird R3s came along and we got Finger articulation 😂 then they evolved into the RA line and we got Bicep articulation. RA got the 'deluxe RA' line, which added more articulation, but they werent finessed figures(Jakks 🙄) when the mattel line came along i told myself "this is the line ive always wanted." no balloon biceps, I COULD ACTUALLY APPLY A FIGURE 4 LEGLOCK! and the figures' physiques were less 'comic book' and more realistic. now we've evolved to have extra headsculpts and hands packaged to give the feeling of getting a 'more-than-one' figure. ONTO SOME REVIESSS Samoa Joe NXTJoOoOeEEeSsS GooOnnNnaA KiIiILLL YoOuuuUuuU im an enormous Samoa Joe Fan, dating all the way back to his monster reign in ROH. i loved his match with Necro Butcher (oof that T-Bone suplex onto the floor) and even thoroughly enjoyed his run in TNA. I vividly remember the news of him signing to NXT and his subsequent debut (remember that abysmal porno groove theme they gave him?) i was hyped for everything that Joe was set up to do, but for some reason i kinda feel like he consistently fell short on screen. back in the day, the only Samoa Joe figure i had was the TNA Joe and he was way out of scale with mattel so i never did much posing or photography with that. i picked up this particular Joe because i wanted the NXT title that he was packaged with, plus the Black and Yellow was a unique colorway to the Joe character. i was able to scoop up this figure MOC for $20 shipped on ebay The Lone Wolf, Baron Corbini can hear JoJo announcing his name as the lights BEAM upon the Lone Wolf on the nXt stage 🤩. i fell so hard in love with nXt during the 2014-2016 years. the Ascension, Bo Dallas, Baron Corbin, Neville; it was SO, SO good. i LOVED watching Baron Corbin squash matches every week. IMO Baron Corbin had a great look and moveset, but obvs fell short on the mic and in personality, but some guys really just work well as big, bad, bruisers. i wouldve loved to see him hold the nXt championship, but he was down there when the biggest indie names were getting signed, so he was enormously overshadowed. Picked up this figure MOC on ebay for $22 shipped The Money, Shane McMahonthis version of shane has some nostalgia with me. my first shane mcmahon figure was the BCA figure wearing the blue suit w/the microphone. articulation was crap, but i loved shane's onscreen character so i was constantly busting out my Shane'O for run ins. later on in life i was able to order my first TTL Shane McMahon and he was wearing this red jersey, KotR attire. Shane got a lot more booking in my fed after arriving because the figure was SO MUCH better that the BCA version i was forced to work with for so many years before. i was really glad to see that we got the KotR incarnation in the elite line, and i had to have it. im kindof 'ehh' on the facesculpt but the figure is great by me in all other aspects. i was lucky enough to score this Shane-O MOC for $27 + shipping Sycho SidI was SO excited to see that we finally got a Sycho Sid in the elite line. Sid has so much nostalgia with me. the first sid i ever had was the Bend-Ems Sid Justice. i remember i was really young and for some reason we had to got to the local Wal Greens and we all know Wal greens doesnt really ever care about their toys 😂 i remember buying Sid Justice and BossMan Bend-ems for $3 ea and TBH i actually kept them in the car to play with on car rides and i played out many, MANY epic matches between the two. the Second big memory i have for Sid was on one weekend when the family decided to go shopping at the Kmart out of town. i think in an effort to secure the cheapest deals, every once and awhile we would go family shopping at the Kmart the next town over. i was always SUPER hyped because i knew i was gonna get/see new toys that my local stores wouldnt ever have. on this occasion i was able to pick up a Sid Viscious Smash and Slam(?) Long Story short i had an amazing time playing with that figure in my fed as a kid, so yeah i HAD to have this flashback Sid. Got him for $25+shipping MOC on Ebay The World's Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrocki grew up right in the boom of Shamrock's career. Lions Den Matches. Ankle Locks. IM THE THE ZONE. i never had a shamrock figure growing up; funny story, i was a HUGE Steve Blackman fan..like id mark out of my pants for a Blackman match. my cousin had a signature series Shamrock BCA figure and when they started feuding on TV, he ALMOST got me to bet figure for figure; they were scheduled to have a match on RAW, and he said if Blackman won, he'd give me his shamrock figure and if Shamrock won, id have to give him my Blackman figure. i didnt agree to the bet LUCKILY because as i recall, Blackman was booked to act weird and walk off from the match. i also remember going to the mall one weekend with that same cousin a few years prior and actually having a dilemma on whether i was going to buy a red trunks BCA shamrock or a Purple Tights BCA triple H.....and i chose the Triple H so i could re-enact his feud with Rock. in my second collection i had commissioned an attitude era shamrock that turned out flawlessly from classicdas. i really enjoy this mattel flashback Shamrock, but i.just.dont.know.why.they.did.the.red.attire.😑 Considering that this is the ONLY Shamrock elite we were able to get, why not just go with the blue attire we all know and love, THEN give us the red w/robe. its a great figure regardless, i really like that we got a softgoods top, the face scan looks good and we got the molded mma gloves and kickpads Ken made iconic. i just 10/10 would have preferred the blue attire or even throw a curveball and give us the green trunks(i dont think we've ever gotten a green trunks shamrock figure?) i scored this figure for $40 shipped on Amazon Prime

I've started and stopped so much I've made myself miserable. There were some really nice customs in those pics. Hopefully you and me both can find some peace and happiness doing what we love.
