Random question, but how long did it take to sell off your whole collection? I’m selling off a bunch of stuff and it feels somewhat draining. Just listing things and not seeing them go.

Just listing things and not seeing them go. tbh i do remember it taking a couple of months. i had much more luck with auction listings rather than buy it now or best offer listings. it really sucked but i feel like i took a hit on almost everything other than my custom figures. i had a couple of gems that i was able to secure on mattycollector or ringside but most other mainline figures went for around what i had paid for them.

With listing fees etc, it’s a hassle. Are you building your collection to the level it was before? I’m considering just staying with my late 90’s roster.

coming in today with the LAST (ride) of the WWE Legends series 14 figure reviews... Mean Mark Callowaystrangely enough this was my most anticipated figure of the legends 14 set. its a really unique opportunity to get a figure of the man who was yet to become the Undertaker. the headsculpt on this figure looks great! Mean Mark was given an angry/ scowling expression and a tidy red mullet hairdo. i do kindof feel like his jaw is too wide? not sure if they were trying to capture some facial hair that he mightve been sporting at the time, but right by his neck, the jawline just seems a little to much to me. i dig the body recipe that they chose; they gave him the Harper/ Undertaker torso and basically tall legs and boots. i could see this figure being a great base for some customs. for accessories we got some interchangeable hands and softgoods vest and chaps. the interchangeable right hand is a really cool mesh glove design. not sure why they didnt give this hand a black peg it wouldve looked way better, also they molded the gloved hand in skintone and then painted the glove on the hand, giving it a weird skintone color difference in the mesh design. my figure also has a weird dot on the waist, its a factory defect and will not clean off. the softgoods vest and chaps are amazing! they are made out of a nice black vinyl and all of the factory stitching is really well done. all in all i would definitely recommend grabbing this figure if only for the novelty value of having a pre-undertaker mark calloway in the collection. i also mentioned in the review that i think this figure would be a great base for customs. a headswap alone could give you any cool old school brawler cowboys that come to mind. Legends 14 rankings 4. Chyna - still glad that we're getting chyna figures but it really was an ultra bland figure wearing all black. they also need to get the hand situation figured out. 3. Road Dogg - a cool Figure in the DX Army outfit, but really falling short of creativity outside of that 2. Edge - great softgoods coat, both the standard and chase figures look awesome 1. Mean Mark - one of those 'figures you never thought mattel would make' and they frankly did a great job with it. it is the most "legends" feeling figure out of this lineup

Happy Sunday y'all. its been a beautiful day outside all day, i was able to grab some breakfast with my best bro, got a fresh new haircut, riding good vibes tonight, hope all is well with everyone too! im excited to get my shipping notification for legends 15! ive had all my preorders locked in with target.com since forever. i also cannot wait for pre-orders for legends 16. ive been wanting Acolytes since i was a kid omg even if bradshaw has a whack torso i cant wait. ANYWAYS i had mentioned in an earlier post that i had gotten a few GEMS for the collection for some pretty spectacular prices. ive actually been able to lock in a NUMBER of gems as of late, ive gotten pretty lucky. All Stars Stone Coldthis was the last 'classic' elite stone cold that i was missing from my collection. i had seen the vest pop up as a loose item a few times and had passed on it, but i saw this figure pop up on mercari for $20 free ship and it was MINT so i pounced on it with no hesitation. a part of me wants to headswap and try to get some white kneebraces even though they wouldnt be accurate but its still be something really different and cool. then again i might just leave him be. NoD Farooqi had been waiting and waiting and waiting for a good deal on a farooq to pop up. i had already purchased the 2 pack rock for ultra cheap, so i didnt want to buy a 2 pack MOC for a really expensive price....long story short i was able to get this figure for $25 shipped and frankly couldnt be happier. my NoD is finally complete however i REALLY wish they would have released Kama in NoD gear instead of his singles gear 😓 the farooq figure is cool, i have a feeling that he might be a tad short? i really wish that the 2 pack had come with the portrait of the Rock that was gifted to farooq instead of the rolex watches the rest of the boys got 🤣 Don "the rock" Muracoim really REALLY grateful that we were able to get an official Don Muraco figure from mattel. if im thinking, it had to be like 2003-2004 or something but i remember wwe released a magazine/book that was like the 50 greatest superstars of all time. there were a bunch of old school names in there that i would not have heard dropped otherwise and that really where i started learning about guys like Don Muraco. ive always held off on buying this figure MOC just because ive been really on the fence concerning the headsculpt, but i saw this pop up in the 'ending soonest' category with no bids @ $20 so i bit. paid a little bit more for shipping but the figure came in all good. we got a softgoods tie dye shirt---the same we would see with superstar graham. the rest of the figure is chonk city as they have given him the brock torso and arms and im not sure whose legs but they are like tree trunks. Don was a HUGE man and like i said im glad he was able to get an official mattel figure---despite not having the most tuned up headsculpt.

I snagged one of these too, and I can't wait to do a review. I've seen so much positive feedback from collectors. I'm glad that you're enjoying it.

coming in today with a SUITED Sunday 🤵 batch of reviews MVPi normally dont buy basic figures, but i needed to add a few more figures to my cart for free shipping, so 😂 also this MVP can be used as a manager figure in the suit, so im always down to have that opportunity for fantasy booking stuff. i like the overall colorway of the figure, the grey and purple looks awesome. the headsculpt is good; i call this a "DMV" expression, like they used his license photo for reference-the expression is really bland. the legs, especially the knees are super stiff. even though this is a basic with limited articulation, i wish suited figures at least had sufficient elbow articulation to hold the mic up proper. this figure was given a gold THB chain to represent The Hurt Business. all in all this figure isnt anything too extraordinary, but having a wwe figure in street gear or a suit is a unique opportunity. i do feel like the vest makes the torso look too thicc, but at the same time im happy that it is a separate molded item. Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendozacarrying my dislike of basics, i actually thought these two figures were just super rad. the black suits and sugar skull facepaint WITH removable luchador masks? hell yeah! i really wish that i could have these figures converted to elites, i think the idea behind the characters are that cool. i also thought i was cool that we got cool extras like the lucha masks and gold crossbones necklace. they even went as far as to detail the shoes!

happy figure friday everyone!! i hit my local target this morning and scored on the Ultimate Hogan and Mr T figures! in addition to that, im expecting my amazon exclusive Young Bucks 2 pack to come in later this afternoon. i ALSO have some new star wars Black Series figures to open up hahaha 😭 its getting to the point where im actually going to need an entire room JUST for my figure collection. oh boy. this is fun though, im going to be getting into photography which will be awesome. i had originally planned on typing these reviews on Monday, with the title of Murphy Monday......but here we are on friday 😅 E72 Murphyi remember the team of blake and murphy in nXt with Bliss as their manager. i remember feeling really indifferent to the team at the time, they had a great look but i remember feeling a little indiffernt to them because they didnt have alot of charisma. this figure is really cool, i like how they captured the ripped shorts look. i would have preferred to buy the chase version in black shorts, but this one popped up on my radar for $20 shipped on ebay and i POUNCED. the logos on the figure are all printed clean and sharp, i kinda dont like how the scroll design in 'Murphy' extends over that hip gap on the right side. the left side has a logo that reads "best kept secret; melbourne aus 1988". this logo is also featured on his right kneepad. the headsculpt is OKAY. i personally dont really see Murphy in the sculpt; i think alot of it has to do with how they sculpted the hair and beard. for accessories, we got the purple Cruiserweight belt and interchangeable pointing hands. all in all, this is a really cool and unique figure. the ripped shorts look and the white logos and boots really pop. not only that but Murphy's physique in real life is absolutely insane and i think they picked a reasonable torso for him. E84 Murphythis figure is much less cooler that its predecessor. same headsculpt as before, he also still gets the unique waist/crotch piece, but this figure comes in long tights this time as he was 'The Disciple' underneath seth rollins. that being said the Disciple logo is featured along the left leg and he is wearing black and white kickpads. one unique thing was that they decided to paint on his right elbow pad; im always really split on the painting of pads, sometimes it looks great but i do also like having the physical pad that can be removed. for accessories, we got a disciple rubber shirt and interchangeable pointing hands. all in all the E72 Murphy is way cooler than this figure and i would absolutely pass on the E84 figure.

Loving this thread bro. It is a joy to follow.
Also wanna say, couldn't agree more with you about the Royal Rumble Elite Austin. That head puts all other Austin's to shame. It's perfect!

coming in today with a Superstar Sunday batch of reviews! hope everyone has had a killer weekend so far! my friday, saturday and sunday morning have been absolutely fantastic i couldnt have asked for a better weekend. im winding down--still on good vibes, but ready to talk about some figures! The GOONhad to pick this guy up for the novelty value alone! the goon is a character that i never expected to see in elite form, but here we are and mattel did a pretty great job of portraying this character. the Goon has unique sculpts for his shoes and gloves which look super cool and the fact that hands are easy to swap gives some interesting ideas for customization. he was also given a softgoods jersey which looks and fits great on the figure. the headsculpt on the figure also looks great; he was given a crazy eyed angry face because he is the GOON!!!! the figure feels really good while posing around, my biggest complaint is that the gloved hands really cant/wont hold anything practical. it really was a bit of a challenge to actually get the hockey stick in his hand properly. all in all this is a really cool, unique character that mattel actually put in a fair bit of effort into. nXt Takeover Seth Rollinswhen possible, i like to fill out the timeline of attires or looks for characters. im glad that they released this nXt era Seth Rollins as his look in nXt was pretty unique and different from his shield or current long tight look. right out of the gate im going to knock them for using weird boots on this figure. seth did wear kickpad style boots in nxt but i think they didnt use the appropriate boot on his figure for height reasons. this figure sees seth in his scarecrow gear; black trunks and boots with a straw skull design on the front of the trunks and straw on the sides. his boots have a scarecrow on the right boot and birds on the left. i really do like the color scheme of this figure, also given the fact that he came with the nxt championship belt, it looks great! i do kindof feel like this figure looks really beefy for a seth rollins? maybe the arms they used? i do like the headsculpt that they chose for this figure, it is an angry, teeth bearing rollins. all in all i think this figure would be great to have in the collection as Rollins early look was really unique and a far cry to what he wears to the ring now.

well, i fixed my undertaker post, how embarrassing though 😂 things have been kinda weird in my personal life where everything seems ok but then again it really doesnt, i feel like lots of us are going through that though, so ive been doing my best to take things at face value and roll with whatever waves try to upset me. today, we're giving Friday to the ladies 🥳 E75 Mandy Roseat first mandy rose felt like the second coming of eva marie, however she has proven to be every ounce of the golden goddess. this is her first and only elite figure thus far and i do like it. the headsculpt looks really good for the era; mandy has a very glamorous looking face and makeup application, and this figure seems to capture that pretty good. her attire is captured in black and gold theme; she was given a rubber entrance jacket that features gold accents. she is wearing black trunks and top; i dont know that the trunks are entirely accurate, i dont think she wore a studded belt with her attires, but i wanst watching full time during that period. the last bit of her attire to talk about are her gold boots that have white laces and white 'Rose' logo going down the outside. for accessories, she was given alternate hands which are actually appropriate for her entrance pose. all in all this is a pretty good figure for being Mandy's current only elite figure. i wish we would have gotten her in an all gold attire, but at least she will be getting a modern nXt elite soon. Fan Central Carmellathis is a really fun figure that i had been keeping an eye on the market for a bit. asking prices for this figure are usually really high for some reason and i was able to SCORE this figure for ~$25 loose just because it didnt have the briefcase accessory. the headsculpt on this figure loos awesome, it really reads as Mella and the paint apps are perfect on my figure. she is captured wearing a dollar bill decorated attire, her top and pants feature green benjamins and the word 'fabulous' along the edges and the pants have rad cheetah print stripes going down the sides. for accessories, she was given a gold C necklace and matching black and gold cap--also a womens MITB briefcase, which i do not have 😝 all in all this is a really cool figure. i like the attire-its really special and looks unique among mattel figures and the headsculpt looks...dare i say fabulous.
