happy saturday everyone! it is going to be absolutely STUNNNING outside in my locale today, so i wanted to share some reviews this morning! ive had these in my back pocket for quite some time, but we're back today for a long running classic----- SHE SLAYS SATURDAY Wrestlemania Sasha Banksthis is an AWESOME figure! this is sasha in her Eddie Guerrero tribute gear from wrestlemania 32 and it looks incredible! i love all of the colors and details captured in this look. the headsculpt looks great both with and without the sunglasses on, they captured Sasha's confident BOSS smirk perfectly. the attire is so colorful; the red attire really pops already, but then lime green, gold and blue designs and accents really compliment the red and it just really looks phenomenal. for accessories we got some sunglasses, necklace, championship belt, and a championship belt display. initially i 10/10 HATED the belt display piece, but it slowly grew on me because it was a cool piece for pictures. i just hate that its this huge piece of rubber π€ all in all i would say this sasha is a go buy it figure! for the era of elites, the headsculpt looks great, the attire is super cool, and it has the unique belt display accessory. E90 ReconingI love stables in wrestling and frankly i really like the aesthetic of Retribution. the masks and facepaint really make for great looking characters, too bad they were booked like trash. this Reconing figure is really cool, there are alot of unique sculpts for this figure. i like the scale and the 'feel' of this figure; it poses really well and holds poses great. the headsculpt looks great, the paint apps were applied cleanly and crisply to my figure. i know that its not accurate for the Reconing figure, but i wouldve liked an unmasked headsculpt been included aswell to make this a 2-in-1 Mia Yim figure. the included softgoods hoodie looks and feels GREAT! i love softgoods accessories---HOWEVER i did notice that the black material from the hoodie was staining the figure, so if you buy one, take the hoodie off immediately. i wiped down the arms and shoulders with isopropyl alcohol and it cleaned up quite well. all in all this is a great figure, its a great opportunity for everyone to complete the now defunct stable Retribution! π RENEE MOXLEYi had no idea they made a Renee figure!!!!! Renee is an incredible personality, i love listening to her podcast Oral Sessions. i was so glad when she joined the wwe staff because she absolutely killed her position and became one of the best on screen interviewers/commentators. this figure is really cool, the headsculpt is alright, i can see Renee in it, but its definitely not truefx tech. the shirt is textured and its really cool, not sure if this is a new mold specifically for her or if we have seen it before. i think we have seen the boots on another figure, but they did a great job of choosing the parts for this figure. the only paint apps to the figure are on the boots i think, they painted the loops on the straps gold. all in all this is a really freaking cool figure; i think this was an early basic figure that still featured the elite style articulation. Renee Paquette/young/moxley/good is a really cool person and her figure deserves a spot in your collection!

HAPPY SLAMMIN SATURDAYComing in today with the Jimmy HART BAF wave PART 1 Dakota Kaiim an old school member of TEAM KICK π€ loved her work earlier on as Evie. this figure is AWESOME, i didnt take enough pictures of this figure but it really is a special addition to the line. the headsculpt looks amazing! they not only were able to capture a complicated expression, but it still shows as Dakota from all angles. she has a raised eyebrow and pursed lips expression-so much attitude! cant wait to pair this figure with raquel! they executed the attire really well, this figure features a ton of unique sculpts, but also some REALLY cool paint apps to the top and shorts. the top has metallic purple spots hidden around and the shorts are a very cool metallic copper color. another +1 i wanted to comment on is the execution of the kneebrace, it was done really really well. all in all, despite probably not being a figure everyone wants, its one of the rare figures that mattel really seemed to put alot of effort in on and it looks great. even if you dont collect the womens figures and needed to buy this figure the the jimmy hart pieces, id keep it on the collection and scoop up a Raquel to pose them next to eachother--both figures look really great. im gonna say 10/10 go buy this figure. Big E to be candid this was my least desired figure from the set. might make alot of enemies here but--im not a fan of New Day. i get their schtick, but its not for me. this figure comes in the 'Get Well Xavier' gear, its a very colorful and busy gear. "get well soon" logos on the left and back side of the singlet, the right side shows an XW and i believe the UUDD logo? the headsculpt is good? it definitely reads as Big E but he's making a sort of meme face so it looks goofy to me. all in all its a Big E figure π€·ββοΈ i dont know that the formula has changed too much between Big E figures. the figure does pose well; all joints operate smoothly and the figure holds poses fine. to ME---no disrespect to Big E, i do enjoy him as an athlete--but i feel like this figure is one of the weakest offering of the 4. we DID get the 'get well' gear to go with the Kofi, but i dont know that we needed another Big E figure, especially in a BAF wave. Whooo??? whoooooooooo? whooooooooooooooooooooo is thattttttt? its a bonus reviwhoooooo: Top Picks Kofiwell, since i had to buy the Big E for the BAF wave, i thought i might as well bring the matching Kofi into the collection π
got lucky and a scored this figure for $9.99 on amazon for damaged box deal, so it was a great buy. the figure, just like the big E is in a very colorful and busy attire. the two look great posed next to eachother

back in today for a FIGURE FRIDAY!! rainy day, got to sleep in; played some chrono cross for a bit, got some new figures in the mail, so i wanted to post some more reviews! Jimmy HART BAF wave PART TWOOOOOO Canadian Earthquakei mentioned in my review of THE SHARK that i am a fan of John Tenta. i dont have an official Earthquake figure in my collection, yet, but so far this one will do. they gave this earthquake the same headscan and body recipe that we've seen since forever. one big improvement is the double jointed arms and they gave him the Brock/Kane sized arms which looks awesome. i like the baby blue color of the singlet and the paint apps on the Canadian flags on my figure were applied cleanly and precisely(little wonky on the boots). all in all, it was cool to see a new rerelease of Earthquake because it had been awhile since we had gotten an earthquake, but i dont know----i would really have rather had a more interesting attire; i get the significance of it but its bland to me. YOKOZUNAwhewwwww this is the review of the thicc boissss forsure!! π
this figure has some heft to it. this is my first yoko figure as his original elite was the only one around during my past collecting days and it was still really sought after by bigger yoko fans than i. before the release of this figure i didnt really expect to own a yoko figure just because they are always pretty highly priced. to be honest i still had to resort to the secondary market to acquire this figure, but i seemed to nab it at a good price-looking where theyre at now. so, this seems to be a re-release of the hall of champions yoko with a new headsculpt? no updated double jointed arms or new attire color, we just got a yoko with interchangable hands and the infamous salt bucket (hoping for Mr Fuji someday). i like the headsculpt, the truefx was applied cleanly and crisply to my figure, it looks great. i dont know--i really dont like this figure all that much. poseability is extremely limited(it took me like 15 mins to balance him in a squatting pose) and the 'rear end' of the figure was designed in a way that it looks like a turtle shell or something, when you bend the legs forward, there is a big gap between the thigh and the buttock piece. when the figure is standing straight, it looks fine, but good luck getting any dynamic poses out of this figure. all in all, kudos to mattel for re-releasing a yoko figre- but same on their terrible distribution with a store exclusive

Jimmy Hartaaaaaaand finally we get to talk about the featured BAF of the wave; the mouth of the south jimmy hart. this Jimmy is sporting the attire he wore alongside the Hart foundation at the Royal Rumble 1988 event. i dont believe that we have a matching elite set of anvil or bret to go along with him. i love managers in wrestling, especially the old days in wrestling where each manager had their own unique personality and gave the wrestlers a reason to be associated with them.this is my very first Jimmy Hart elite figure and i really dig it! the headsculpt is good; it looks ridiculous without the sunglasses, but then again so does the real life jimmy, so π€£ he was sculpted in a shouting pose and given his trademark megaphone. im gonna give mattel a -1 on the fact that the build a figure sculpts are in desperate need of retooling and updating. they all NEED to have double jointed elbows at this point and the simple fact that 99% of them are meant to hold something to talk into and the lack of articulation doesnt allow them to hold anything remotely close to their face. the arms are an absolute nightmare on any/every build a figure ive ever owned. any type of force applied to the shoulder to get a dynamic pose will cause the arm to just fall out. ive literally given these figures the double grip bearhug with my hands in an effort to seat the arm peg into the joint, but everytime they just come right tf out. this jimmy figure really POPS on the shelf. i can easily see alot of people using this figure as a base for personal customs because the black and pink does look snappy. could do without the piano tie, though. ALL IN ALL was this wave WORTH IT?! *sigh* i really dont know. the biggest win for figure collectors in this wave, IMO was the brand new dakota kai figure(who basically had changed her appearance by the time the figure came out anyways) and a re-release of yokozuna, who is traditionally a very expensive figure on the secondary market. the Big E figure was nice for new day fans looking to complete the pairing with Kofi, and the Canadian Earthquake figure was a bone for the old school collectors. the absolute worst thing for me concerning this wave was that i had to buy all of them on the secondary market. these were not stocked at my local target nor were they available on the target website/app(i think). to be completely honest, had this just been a regular ppv wave with no build a figure--i probably would have passed on 2/4 figures easily. my personal ranking for the wave: 4. Big E - just didnt want or need this figure. 3. Earthquake - i wanted an Earthquake figure, just not in the Canadian attire; its too bland. 2. Yokozuna - the new headsculpt is cool and it was neat to finally own a yoko 1. Dakota Kai - it was a first time elite figure for her and i think it turned out really good.

Happy Slammin Saturday!got a bit of a drizzle coming down this morning; i love rainy days π§ one thing i didnt love was hearing that CM Punk sustained some broken bones and will not be able to actively defend the championship right away. i think this is one of those "this is really where the work begins" moments for Punk. ANYWAYS onto some figures for today! E91 Kevin Owensthis is my first K.O figure ever! its funny, last year when i was on a tear buying tons of figures on ebay in the rebuild phase of my new collection, i had bought the K.O figure wearing silver from his nXt debut, and it was the ONLY figure that never arrived. i held off on buying another K.O until now because this headsculpt looks great, IMO and the figure had the most recent updates to the body recipe. The headsculpt on the figure looks great! we get K.O sporting a pointy beard and faux hawk hairstyle, along with an angry, irritated looking expression. the trueFX technology was applied cleanly to my figure. the tattoos on K.O's arms look cool and most were applied cleanly are easily identifiable. this figure features a Stun owens Stun shirt in yellow and blue colorway. it really pops-just a personal thing i really dont like that they gave K.O the stunner; thats Stone Cold's finisher. blows my mind that we get to see guys in AEW doing the package piledriver, but thats a no-no in wwe. the lower body of the figure shows K.O wearing his trademark prizefighter shorts with the word 'Fight' printed on each knee. i like how they executed his kneepads and the transition into the boots. looking at other figures that were released wearing shorts, this execution is really well done, i like them. speaking of boots, the last detail on the figure is the blue laces on the boots, which not only look very cool, but the paint application was done very cleanly. all in all, i think this is a great figure! the headsculpt on the figure looks great, the body recipe is great, and poseability and overall 'feel' of the figure is....great! we also got a ladder for an accessory with K.O which always feels kinda special because its such a large accessory to pack in. E82 Gronk right out of the gate i just want to say i only bought this figure because i was able to get it ULTRA cheap and i intended to use it as a base for a custom. i had created a wrestler in WWF Smackdown! 2 that had used the template head with the blond flattop haircut and sunglasses; i named him Lieutenant Surge and he ended up being re-created in every single future wrestling game i played for the rest of my life. i feel like this gronk figure--or atleast the head and glasses would work out great to re-create that. but otherwise this figure really isnt a terrible offering. the headsculpt does feature resemblance to Gronk, even utilizing the screaming expression. this figure came in a softgoods blue tiger striped shirt. its a unique shirt, but i dont think it could be used for anyone else because they printed GronkMania on the left chest of the shirt. the figure's torso was molded in white; it doesnt look like a unique shirt mold, just a normal torso molded in white. the lower legs are molded in the 'jogger' pants mold; the left leg reads Gronk Mania and the Right features the tiger stripe deco going down the leg. Gronk was given the sneaker shoe mold. its only slightly better than the Cena show mold, but the ankles are still kinda bogus. all in all, this figure is definitely not a stinker, there was alot of effort put into this unique character, however i dont feel like he is essential to the collection in any way. i had passed on this figure so many times and then finally thought i might be able to whip up something cool using it; still kinda have my doubts π€£

That Austin looks fantastic. I would recommend swapping his legs with someone who has thicker thighs like Cody/Bo Dallas to give him a more proportional look. Iβve done that to two Austinβs and it makes a world of a difference.

happy SLAMMIN saturday everyone! i spent my ENTIRE morning taking pictures of all my newest arrivals to the collection. some 250 pictures were taken this morning π΅ i have a few people who have been pushing me in a positive way to start a YOUTUBE channel for reviewing both my Star Wars Black Series figures and my WWE Elite figures! i think i would really enjoy that but wow what a project that could turn into! ANYWAYS i wanted to share a couple of Tag Teams today that i was really excited to complete the pairings of. The Revivalone of--if not my top favorite tag team right now-- these guys get it. right out of the gate i want to say that both of these figures are way, WAY too skinny. both of the guys were pretty built, especially Dash Wilder, he had alot of upper body build and tricep meat on his frame and these body recipes really dont do these guys' physiques justice. i like both of the headsculpts, WAY better compared to the Jazwares AEW figures... Dawson has the 'No Flips just Fists' logo on both his left kneepad and right elbowpad; i added the kneebrace to the figure. both figures are wearing dark navy trunks with red and white Revival Logos on the back and their initaials in the front. Dawson is wearing badass white boots with red flames and Wilder is wearing black boots with gold straps. all in all these are great figures however the mattel body style of everyone being thinner than they need to be really hurts these guys. i would definitely recommend having these figures in the collection, and as i mentioned they are still better than their Jazwares figures. Harlem HeatHULK HOGAN........ WE COMING FOR YOU Nπ₯π₯π₯π₯ if you remember that one, youre a legend. ANYWAYS i was SUPER stoked to finally complete my pairing of the legendary Harlem Heat. the funniest part was that i was able to buy both figures for around ~$25 each because the sellers that i bought them from mislabeled both figures; the stevie ray was purchased loose being sold as booker t and the booker t was being sold loose as stevie π€£ my first exposure to Harlem Heat was in the videogame for the ps1; WCW Nitro. by the time i was tuning into wcw regularly, Booker T was on his own and Stevie Ray was in the nWo. i always loved the harlem heat/ booket t theme song. these figures are super cool and frankly fall under the: figures i never thought mattel would release--is this Stevie Ray's first figure ever? both figures have unique torso choices, i think stevie was given the Ron Simmons torso and...im honestly not sure which torso they gave booker. the figures both came in the matching Harlem Heat red long tights--each has a unique flame pattern on their boots. for accessories we got both red and black bandanas with flames and rounded sunglasses. all in all, honestly these figures are really freaking cool. Harlem heat were legendary in old school wcw and they had a really unique attire. as i mentioned i dont know that stevie ray had a previous figure ever and i dont think he'll end up having another one. acquiring these figures can be a process, though--if you buy them MOC, youll be paying a premium for sure. if you buy them loose--chances are they'll be missing some or all of the accessories, and feature paint damage on the upper portion of the attire. i got lucky with buying these two loose without any real paint damage, but they both were missing the black bandana accessory and booker didnt come with sunglasses.

back today for a SHE SLAYS SUNDAY edition of the legends 14 reviews! πͺπ€£ the 9th wonder of the world Chynaso this is another installment in the DX army lineup we are getting spreadout across the legends series. its still crazy to think that after everything, we're still getting chyna figures. this Chyna looks to be from around the time of her debut; she is just wearing basic black tanktop, collar and pants. it looks like we get a new headsculpt for this figure, it looks great! we also get a new hairstyle for chyna, this time around she is sporting a ponytail. i really wouldve liked for mattel to choose a more colorful attire for this figure or something? when DX was feuding with NoD, chyna was wearing stuff like neon green tanktops this figure just seems so terribly basic and bland---despite being accurate. for accessories we got a softgoods vest and interchangeable hands. the hands are a laughable situation. she was given the open 'chyna' sized hands and normal sized closed fist hands. not quite sure why that was allowed to happen because it looks really goofy. they did the exact same thing with Raquel Gonzalez π€¦ββοΈ all in all, this is the most basic looking chyna elite figure thus far. the headsculpt does look really good, but its chyna in unremarkable black attire. as i noted, it is an accurate attire to the early time of her debut, but its just really 'meh'. the hand situation needs to be addressed aswell, thats not a good look at all

Happy Figure Friday everyone! its a nice, calm rainy day today π my overtime was cancelled so i get to lay out and catch up on some cooking, rest, and ofcourse some figure business! i cant wait for the next series of elites to come up on amazon, my stephanie finally has a ship date, but i havent been able to lock down the rest of the set yet. THE ROAD DOGG JESSE JAMESoh i think you mightve known! π€£ up next in the legends reviews and the DX Army lineup is the Road Dogg Jesse James. i really do think that this headscan is amazing. imo it offers an incredible likeness to road dogg! in his DX Army attire, he was given softgoods camo pants and a softgoods dx shirt(as all the dx members were), a custom helmet to accomodate his hair, and an ammo bandolier. in the dx army gear this figure reminds me of a line jakks did back in the day called Camo Carnage. it featured the members of DX and Stone Cold--they were all wearing camo gear with rifles and army accessories. i tucked the shirt into the pants and then hiked the pants legs up over his boots and i think it looks really awesome! taking off the camo gear we get road dogg wearing the pants that he was in on the first night the New Age Outlaws were a thing? i dont agree with this choice AT ALL. THAT couldve been a figure in itself, i dont know why they would give him those pants in this particular lineup because not even billy gunn is wearing the matching gear. i tried to keep the shirt on the figure by tucking up the bottom of it, it looks okay, but i think road dogg is ONE GUY i vote to use a molded shirt torso. other things to note about this figure are the tattoos; they all look great on the figure--AND this road dogg has double jointed arms meaning that he can now hold a mic up to his face and crotch chop with the best of them. all in all this figure really kinda fell short of expectations. there were SO MANY other incarnations of jesse james that they couldve given us underneath the softgoods. i really kinda dont like that they chose these pant designs because road dogg had an entire outfit for this gear in particular that-like i mentioned couldve been an entire figure alone--along with the billy gunn from that night. this figure is necessary for the DX Army lineup and it DOES have improved double jointed arms, but its just MEH underneath all of that. it was cool for new collectors because the Road dogg figures are usually $40+ loose on secondary.
