Can anyone explain the new mutations to me?

I recently picked up an X-men...and I see that a lot of the mutants are going through "Second mutations"....is this evolution...can anyone give me the second mutations for the specific mutants?

Iceman- Part of his torso is ice for ever, it won't turn back to flesh like it used to.

Thats the only one I can really remember... I know some others like one person got a second heart so when we thought she/he died they didn't.

Several mutants are experiencing what is called a "secondary mutation." Iceman is becoming solid ice. Emma Frost can turn to a diamond form as well as use telepathy. Archangel's blood can heal, in addition to having wings. Beast's secondary mutation is that he became more feline and gained increased strength and healing powers.

Beast was originally a normal looking human aside from his abnormally large hands and feet. After he took a leave of absence from the X-Men, he created a serum that would block mutation. But when he found out the company he was working for wanted to use it for evil, he swallowed it and turned furry and blue. A long while later, he was on a mission with the X-Treme X-Men and was mortally wounded. A mutant named Sage used her powers to jumpstart Beast's secondary mutation so his healing powers could save him. So he turned into a blue lion-type person. Go figure.

Jean's enhanced powers could probably be seen as a secondary mutation. Sage's abilility to "jumpstart" powers may be either a secondary mutation or just a power she never told anyone about. Rogue breifly had the secondary mutation to call upon any past signature she had collected by skin-to-skin contact. But I think that's it. That's kind of weird that there's only a handful. I'm sure there will be more eventually. Just like everyone doesn't mutate at once, everyone doesn't secondary mutate at once.
