Did you sell as a lot or piece by piece? Is any of the money still around? The rarer ones pice by piece then I sold quite a lot of what I had left to one buyer, didn’t sell if to make money, more to make room, had a family coming and had to change the purpose of the room and didn’t really want to put them in storage. Probably lost money overall or maybe broke even |

For the most part no, but then when I see the new warrior from the WM triple H match I think that’d look good in my new gen display and I do a little bit then. But for the most part with a lot of the legends now being in store exclusives and seeing eBay prices I’m glad I got out tbh |

that looks like a stellar collection and setup!
ive been out of the wwe game for over 7 years myself but last year started collecting star wars black series. when surfing for deals, i found myself checking in on the wwe line more frequently--just seeing who has been produced since ive been gone, and what the prices are on secondary market. well--i got caught up on collecting star wars and now find myself back into collecting mattel wwe line. it sucks to report that alot of the characters/figures id really like to have in my collection now are going for like 4-5x retail so i definitely wont be able to enjoy those, but im looking forward to hopping on the train and riding for a little bit.

Do people normally only collect one type of toy? I buy all kinds of sh*t but don't actually know anything about "the hobby."
80's/90's GI Joe's are my poison. I've got over 600, including vehicles, and bases. I've also got various wrestlers, Transformers, C.O.P.S, Ninja Turtles, Marvel and DC figures, Thunder Cats, SilverHawks, He-Man, Star Wars, Star Trek, McFarlane's and on.....
Everything is used. I don't care at all for packaged toys. Gillberg doesn't have anything packaged either. Is that "normal" or do people prefer unopened figures?

What sucks is trying to get those back now will cost like 5x the amount! Start with the ones you like most or start a new collection and get new figs of you guys you like.
You can always stalk eBay for ones you had and try to grab a few here and there for good prices.
Check classifieds here as well!

Really great collection and display! It's a shame how many of those figures never got a second release.
I've definitely considered hitting the brakes on my collection a few times, but don't know that I could ever see myself parting with it.

I love detolfs but I have some larger pieces or dios I've built/want to build that are too wide for detolfs and want a similar glass look to detolfs just wider.

What I would like to know is where you got that glass case? I love detolfs but I have some larger pieces or dios I've built/want to build that are too wide for detolfs and want a similar glass look to detolfs just wider. Second this. That case is like a double-wide Detolf, I need one! Also what brand of motorcycle was used for Taker? |
