I sold/traded off most of my Legends figures awhile ago. I miss some of them.

Do people normally only collect one type of toy? I buy all kinds of sh*t but don't actually know anything about "the hobby." 80's/90's GI Joe's are my poison. I've got over 600, including vehicles, and bases. I've also got various wrestlers, Transformers, C.O.P.S, Ninja Turtles, Marvel and DC figures, Thunder Cats, SilverHawks, He-Man, Star Wars, Star Trek, McFarlane's and on..... Everything is used. I don't care at all for packaged toys. Gillberg doesn't have anything packaged either. Is that "normal" or do people prefer unopened figures?
Where do you keep all this? I mean just the 600 GI Joes alone must take up so much Space. Pics?
Haha. My living room looks like a toy store. I have a lot of shelves. I have a desk that I sit at most of the time. Underneath it is a plastic cabinet with 3 drawers that holds the joes. A bunch of them are on shelves (in vehicles or playsets) but almost all of them are in the cabinet. I'm not going to hijack gillberg's thread, but I'll make one and post pics. |

I sold all of mine and to this day I have zero regrets ... it’s an addiction of nostalgia, painted plastic and constantly spending money.
I’m fine with just looking at what comes out and telling myself ... yep, mostly all repaints 👍🏻
Don’t regret selling, if you made money and enjoyed the collection at the time then it was a win, win.

Ive started selling a few here and there. At some point you realize you don’t need 4-5 figures of the same guy just because their attires are a little different. There are a few expections, but for the most part that’s gonna be my standard now. |

This is what I have done. I am selling everything besides WWF Hasbros and a few others -- but I WILL buy any Retro Mattels that come out that I want.

I did the same, only 1 figure per person unless is a very special thing like Austin in shorts, DM and in ring attire. Or Undertaker. Things like that. |

I just got back into collecting late last year/early this year after about 2 years or so and have thought about selling off my collection again already (probably 50 or more with probably 10-20 more on the way this year). I don’t want to because I know I’ll regret it again but I want to because I’m not as interested as I was 3-4+ years ago
