The AEW line has gotten me into MOC collecting as well as loose because of how beautiful the packaging is, and when this rotten horrible pandemmy is over I want to start going to meet & greats to get them signed. What’s the best type of paint pen or marker for getting figures signed?

I'm a big fan of the Sharpie oil-based paint pens. I think they both pop and I've had the least issues with them compared to any other marker. I think DecoColor also looks great but I for sure have had some issues with them taking forever to dry (and winding up with a tiny smudge or two as a result). Don't think I've ever had an issue with the Sharpie ones; they look good and dry pretty quickly.

Sharpie oil based. I just sent out a Mox to get signed and sent it with an orange sharpie oil based. I'd post pics when it comes back if I knew how.

I don't do signed figures, but will also echo Shapie oil based paint pens. Nothing I've used for autograph signings comes close. If you're getting it signed yourself, just make sure you properly prep the pen and test it beforehand.
