Bagwell š¢ I donāt think they ever said they wouldnāt make him but sadly they wonāt and Iām pretty sure the McMahonās hate him I can see Bagwell certainly being made. McMahon has had both Jeff Jarret and Ultimate Warrior hold him ransom for money. He still brought them back into the company and Warrior (hopfully Jeff soon) had figures released. Chyna, Superstar Billy Graham and Bruno Sammartino talked bad about the WWE in the past and they had figures made of them eventually. Knowing this, it gives me hope that a Bagwell Elite and any other wrestlers not released; will be released one day. I liked Bagwell and would pick up his figure.
With that being said, I think there is a huge difference/incentive for Vince to bury the hatchet with Warrior, Chyna, Superstar, Bruno and JJ - all played a huge role in WWF/WWE history (maybe not as much for JJ) and can still make WWE money. Bagwell is not anywhere near their league.
On top of that, he spent like one week in WWE (we all have seen how Vince treats WCW stars), he has sued them, and the only reasons why he has been in the news the past 9 years is for escorting, weird videos where he appears under the influence/beat up, and car accidents.
Never say never, but I don't see Bagwell being signed anytime soon, especially if Vince and family has to approve every Legends deal (not sure if he does).

Maybe he can have his mom call them and Judy can work out a deal with the WWE.

And while there is an obvious (and in some ways understandable) WWE bias in Mattels flashbacks, the line covers all wrestling history under the WWE brand, not just WWE itself. There's no question that Bagwell deserves a figure and he would easily sell well enough. Mattel makes plenty of flashbacks that are way more obscure or questionable (sales-wise) than Bagwell.

How many WCW guys that havenāt spent any significant time in WWF/E have a Mattel fig? Magnum TA and Stevie Ray are the only ones that I can think of. WWE doesnāt seem to sign many wrestlers who never or barely worked for Vince to Legends deals. I doubt Buff who had 1 televised match in WWF which is considered one of the worst Raw main event matches in history and was labeled to have a bad attitude while he was there is someone thatās gonna be one of those few exceptions to the rule.

Mattel is gonna have to figure something out soon. As someone who only collects classic figures Iām so disappointed lately with the same wrestlers getting figures over and over again. There are so many stars from the 80ās & 90ās that would make an awesome figure but instead all we get is Ultimate Warriors, Macho Man & Triple H. Mattel needs to push back against WWE and let Mattel sign there own wrestlers to deals. It would be in their own interest to make more money. Iām not disappointed with Warrior or Savage releases...hell they had 100s of attires over their careers and Mattel has yet to make even half! They do need to do away with that original Warrior scan and NEVER use it again!

Kindāve ridiculous WWE and Mattel never bothered to give Chyna recognition until she died! I understand everyoneās opinion of her choices of entertainment after wrestling is going to be different. I personally did not think anything of it other than what it was....grown woman doing what she wanted. What pisses me off about it now though is WWE is profiting off her name/character with merchandise (like figures) but they refused to do anything while she was alive! Makes me sick! Loved the last two figures though! Thereās been āsuperstarsā that have done a lot worse in my opinion....Jimmy Snuka for example. What was Mattel supposed to do? š¤·āāļø Iām not saying Iām not glad they made the figures they have I just donāt like the fact that while she had a breath in her body it was never considered but when she died it was ok...

I can guarantee you that the guys on the Mattel design team have wanted to make figures of her since they started, but it comes down to who WWE has under contract. They have no control over that.
