Owen is a hard no because Martha won't deal with WWE, so technically not an issue on WWE/Mattel's end. He's had other recent figures, and I think there's a fair likelihood that we'll be seeing him in a 6in scale before too long. I think it’s just a matter of time also although I kind of think I’m getting my hopes up also with it to be let down I've been in the "it's more likely than before, but don't get your hopes up" camp since the line was announced. But things have shifted recently and I'm pretty confident that something is close, if not a done deal. Jeremy gave a quote recently when asked about Owen that was basically "stay tuned."

Interesting topic, but I think in the moment, what Bill stated was absolutely fact. None of us questioned for a second that a toy company would be in a position to make a action figure of a porn star. Her passing has changed the focus of her life, it just has... we now focus on the “good” (by accepted standards) parts of her life, and that means we can celebrate it, cause we don’t speak I’ll of those who have passed. I believe when Bill stated the Razor stuff, there was a lot of news and chatter about him ending someone life. I don’t remember the whole story, but think it was due to self defence or something. Again, time has passed and while Hall is still with us (thankfully), time has passed and his career in the ring is celebrated again. I honestly believe the only person off the table completely at this point is Benoit... and rightly so in my book. (They have made everyone who has wronged WWF and McMahon, he’ll we go Savage for crying out loud - look that one up lol) Waltman was under a legends deal and Mattel made figures of him. No one seemed bothered at all by his “films”. Nor did they have a problem making a figure of Mickie James even tho she has some very graphic photos of her in circulation. Chyna doing adult movies was just an excuse to not honor her while she was alive. Bill was just commenting based on WWE’s stance at the time.

Mattel needs to push back against WWE and let Mattel sign there own wrestlers to deals. It would be in their own interest to make more money. There are very, very few marketable wrestling legends that don’t have a Mattel WWE figure. Mattel signing random obscure 70s/80s wrestlers (who nobody who buys toys remembers except for a few dozen people on Wfigs) is not going to make millions. Ultimate Warrior’s 300th figure will always outsell Ted Arcidi’s first figure. Outside of maybe Scott Steiner, I can’t think of many “first time in the line” names left who would be a big enough seller to justify the outlay. If an old wrestler hasn’t had a WWE legends deal at any point in the last 11 years, there’s probably a good reason for it. I agree with the sentiment but there are more than a few that'd sell decently that Mattel hasn't tackled yet. Attitude era midcarders like Gangrel, Bart Gunn, Headbangers, Hollys, Val Venis, Jeff Jarrett are a far cry from Big Bully Busick or Ron Bass you know?

Garvin is under a Merch deal right now, still not sure why we haven’t gotten him.

Waltman filmed two movies with the sole purpose to sell and distribute it. Just because they had an amateur home video quality doesn’t disqualify it as legitimate porn any different than anything with slightly better production quality.

Steve has said there’s only 1 figure that will never happen. He didn’t specify who but we know who he was talking about. Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell. It's too bad because I'd love to see the Killer Bee's.

What did Tunney do? Pretty sure there was a bitter falling out over the control of the Canadian territory. Vince didn’t need him anymore to promote in Canada so basically he forced him out. No one from WWE attended his funeral. I can’t recall if his death was ever mentioned on WWE TV.

I would love a Crash Holly figure more than anything, but all of these names are guys who might be worth putting out a figure if available under WWE - they’re not worth Mattel going out of their way to sign specially. Similar for the Godwinns, Al Snow, Gillberg, Droz, Steve Blackman, etc etc.

I feel an Owen Elite is possible, maybe for a SDCC exclusive. If they give most of the proceeds to the Owen Hart Foundation.

Bagwell 😢 I don’t think they ever said they wouldn’t make him but sadly they won’t and I’m pretty sure the McMahon’s hate him I can see Bagwell certainly being made. McMahon has had both Jeff Jarret and Ultimate Warrior hold him ransom for money. He still brought them back into the company and Warrior (hopfully Jeff soon) had figures released. Chyna, Superstar Billy Graham and Bruno Sammartino talked bad about the WWE in the past and they had figures made of them eventually. Knowing this, it gives me hope that a Bagwell Elite and any other wrestlers not released; will be released one day.

Owen Hart. Will not. Happen. Ever. Yeah did you see that documentary? The whole family blames WWE and Vince wouldn't work with them.
