I'm not dissing 60's comics... it's just that 90% of em sucked that have came with the figs. Plus a Blade comic from 1960? It's stupid... And i'm glad he came with a wicked posterbook instead.

Yeah, I know I flip through them and such and Dark Phoenix is the best X-Men story ever told.

Then again, I have never been a huge X-Men fan. I read them occasionally but I mostly focus my efforts on Spider-Man and his stories.

Well, it's official: We're all screwed! The new issue of Toyfare has a preview of ML6, and it turns out that Phoenix will be a chase, just as we all feared. Damn! Anyway, I'll post some new color pics of the figs from the magazine later if anyone wants me to.

In other Marvel news, series 7 of Marvel minimates has been officially announced: Grey Hulk and Rhino (both re-issues of exclusives), Thanos and Silver Surfer (Surfer is Towers exclusive reissue), and Chameleon and Ultimate Spider-Man (Spidey is Comic-con re-issue). The chase will see a Chameleon with a J. Jonah Jameson mask. Only two new 'mates this series, but a nice way for people that missed the exclusives to pick them up.

As for Minimates series 7...hardcore. Sounds like a good line-up. However, 4 -6 aren't even out yet...they announce, yet never release. I still gotta get me the Giant Size box set...to lazy to go to the comic shop that has it for a good price.

As for Phoenix being chase...I'm royally pissed. I hope you're happy, Toybiz. You're now turning into Mattel. Good job!

Ok, so not quite as bad as Mattel, theres only 1 Wolvie in the set..but it's still a STUPID decision, and it pisses me off to the highest degree. I want a goddamn Phoenix.

I opened up my X-Men classics Cyclops today, and I like the figure a lot! However, these intellectually- disabled accessories they come with have to go! They are just dumb, and raise the cost of the figures.

FF box set? Sounds good but I already have 3 of those figures. Maybe I will just hold off on getting Reed now that I know this beast is coming out. I have to say though, the Sinister Six pack is cool because I need a comic version of Venom, Ock, Electro and Black Cat but I will get dupes of Kraven and Spidey. I am glad to see Scorpion and a new Lizard.
