OK, the fact that there are 2 versions of Phoenix tells me one will be a normal release-why make a variant of a chase? Seems silly.
I love that FF set. Except for Doom, they're all new molds(at least the heads) to look just like they do in the comics right now. Very cool.

Holy crap, ML 6-8 look amazing! I have never seen a figure that looked quite as amazing as everyone's favorite circus sideshow archer Hawkeye. Did anyone else see the arrow with Ant-Man on it? Sweet! And his base is his "Battle Steed" thing from Thunderbolts? Awesome! The names been on the back of the box for long enough. But what in the hell is Storm wearing? when did that happen?

Cable(both) kick's major @$$. Cable just looks so awesome and so does Deadpool man. I am also in love with Ultimate Captain America. Hawkeye is just really cool. He's always been a favorite of mine evr since the Avengers TV show. The only other Hawkeye I had was the TV show version but I can't find it  Well anyways can't wait for the comic version to come out. |

Well, I am pleased there are two versions of Phoenix, so hopefully Dark Phoenix will be the chase.
Juggernaut is amazing!
I also love the new Captian America Sculpt!
Vison and Hawkeye are also cool. In fact, I even love the Fantastic Four box set. Sue Storm looks pretty good. The Thing sculpt is much better, and the new version of Human Torch is pretty sweet. The new Richards is OK, and the Dr. Doom isn't bad at all.
I am also really liking the Sinister Six box set too. Some of the members may be wrong, but I need all of those spiderman villians, and that Green Goblin is MUCH better than the previous SMC one.
Iceman is kind of....ehh...and even though Ghost Rider is improved....do I really need another one?

Everything Toybiz showed was amazing, from what looks like the removal of the " new character " chase figure, to the great box sets. Where'd you hear they doing away with the "new character" chases? In a press release recently they said Phoenix, Vision, and Black Widow were all chases, and all new characters. |

No. It was confirmed at Toyfair there are no more new characters being released as chases. Only paint variants from this point on.

Series 6 consists of: • Wolverine (Brown Costume) with Ogun and Japanese base. (38 POA) • Cable with transforming hover bike. (36 POA) • Deadpool with Doop sidekick and action stand. (36 POA) • Juggernaut with demolished Xavier Institute. (42 POA) • Phoenix (Chase Figure) with bird. (40 POA) • Punisher (Movie) with arsenal of weapons. (38 POA) OK, so something big seems to be happening with the chase figures, as you'll see when we show you the shots from the showroom. Basically Phoenix will be in regular rotation, but there will be paint variants in the line as chase figures. The two we saw for series 6 were a Dark Phoenix and Brown Unform Cable |

Yeah, General Copy N' Paste is right, Cable and Phoenix have paint variants. In the later lines, Vision will likely have a clear variant, and Widow will have a variant.

Well color me corrected, and HAPPY! I couldn't give a damn about paint variations, as long as I get the standard figs. Oh, happy day!

My thoughts:
I like the idea of using paint variations instead of new figs. It makes it much more easier.
Hopefully Vision is white instead of clear... And widow has diffrent colored hair(blonde/red)
Ultimate Iron man looks so awesome especially his removable mask! Looks like something for a Linkin Park CD cover.
Wow, The FF box set Thing looks just like he did in that AWESOME Fantastic Four Movie. Which isn't a bad thing... ;D
DR.DOOM, THOSE IDIOTS FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT! Doom's face is brutally messed up, that's why he wears the mask, duh.... I think his face is so cool lookin now but looks a little too much like Freddy Krueger. Oh well....
Green Goblin's switchable head is SWEET!
Ghost Rider looks alot better than the previous one released. And his bike is just plain sweet.
Juggernaut- I've been waiting a long time for this one...worth the wait.
The Vision and Hawkeye- These two have been on my list forever and sadly the animated series were the only decent figs of the two. I love Vision since he's my favorite Avenger and i'm glad they did Hawkeye in his old school costume!
Apocalypse-Another x-men...*sigh*...But he's cool so whatever.

i really hope those stands holding up Doop and Deadpool are the actions stands that have been mentioned as his base. It's a cool idea for those characters who aren't usually grounded (especially when they get around to making nightcrawler, if they add a big teleporting effect right where the stand attaches to the figure, it would be awesome)
Hopefully the Widow variant will have a different hair mold, and the outfit painted to be similar to the marvel select one
