Well he did start it at 9.99 with shipping at 6.00, but the price skyrocketed.

set ended at $45...really not a bad price when you consider you would pay $42-48 locally depending on where you get them. $6 shipping for all of those isn't bad either. hell...I woulda bid on it had I seen it in time.
What I don't agree with:

What I don't agree with: Wasn't Elektra supposed to be one per case? She became very easy to find.

yes i do, but I'm tired of waiting dammit! I'm going to repeat what I said on Fwoosh: Toybiz appears to be dead serious about that July release date. That's not going to stop me from hitting KB, Target, Walmart, and TRU in the next couple days. I'd be happy to find just one of them. I'll let you know if I see anything.

With my luck either series 6 or the Sinister 6 box set will arrive while I'm in FL the next 2 weeks Toy Biz FINALLY updated thier web site. They've got a pic of the chase vision figure(which looks total bad @$$ to me).

Time to go off... Alright, yesterday, I woke up at 6:30 in the morning and went to Toys R Us. To my surprise, they had 3 boxes of SMC9. I needed a Rhino, but I didn't have enough money to buy both a Rhino and a movie. I chose the movie over the toy. I wake up today, again with as little sleep in me as possible, and go back to Toys R Us. After sitting on the curb by the door for 15 minutes, my ass is completely numb, and they open the door. Rejoice, I see boxes of Toybiz products. Every single box is filled with Spider-Man 2 webshooter bullshit. In an even more stunning turn of events, I ask the guy where the hell the 3 boxes of SMC9 were, and he couldn't find them. I go up to the counter and ask when they put them out, and they're even less help. So over the past 2 days, I've gotten a total of 8 or less hours of sleep, just to go to Toys R Us to find NOTHING. I am sick of those incompetent ass s that work there. They should have a clause in their contracts that says that they should know what the toys are, and how the toy business works. They should have to know what toy companies there are, and at least be a little more helpful to their customers. At this point, I could care less about the stupid toy, I want my hours of sleep back. I want those few hours of my life they took from me back. them, and Toys Rnt Us.

You're blaming TRU becuase you're so obsessed with collecting that you'd rather wait in front of the TRU for it to open instead of sleep? How is that their fault? And don't you think it's possible that they sold three Rhinos in a day? Geez, some people are just way too into this collecting thing. You made a choice to pass on the Rhino. You made a choice to get 8 hours of sleep in two days. Deal with it. Don't blame other people for the choices you regret making.

So they didn't sell any of them. I am not obsessed with collecting, either. I just thought they'd have something, seeing as how they sort of had 3 boxes yesterday. I have every right to knock Toys R Us. They had 3 boxes yesterday, and magically they disappeared. The employees are zero help, too. Don't knock me, now.

That's one major rule of collecting: If you pass on something, don't expect it to be there later. From the time you saw them, until the time TRU closed, employees or Ebay vultures probably got ahold of them. Yeah it sucks, but you made the call to pass on them. They should be more available in a few months anyway.

I found another Carnage today while I was shopping. I already have one, but I picked it up unless anyone on the board wants it. That's only like the fourth case of that series I've found in my town. All the old lines are still clogging the shelves. I just hope they clear out in time for the Scorpion series.

Do you really think that every employee in the store works every day, every hour that they are open and knows exactly who they sold every item to? You seem to be the one that doesn't understand the toy business.

Yes, I do really think that every employee in the store works every day, every hour that they are open and knows exactly who they sold every item to. They never sold any SMC9 figure. If you read the previous 2 posts I made, you'd have known that. They had 3 boxes of them, most likely in the back room. They took no effort to search the computers, they took no effort to look for them, and they all seemed pre-occupied with other people. And who the hell cares if I don't know the toy business? Business? People thought I was obsessed? Toys are not business.

Dude, that's awesome! I'd love an "invisible" Invisible Woman, but I'm not buying two boxsets. I think if I could only have 1 IW, it'd be the regular version.
