Decided to watch 24 and JBL vs Finlay is so god damn good. Very under appreciated match that had a horrible build. Plus who doesn’t love that trash can spot? Probably in my top 5 Mania openers.

Weird that came match came from Finley vs Vince and JBL vs Jericho I remember being so pissed they threw Jericho in the MITB and though I liked JBL and Finlay I thought it was a waste of a Mania match. All ended up working perfectly. Wrestlemania 24 is a favorite and it’s a hell of a way to start. |

The story was dook but I always loved JBL potatoing the little b*stard lol Yeah the story sucked but it made sense as JBL was a McMahon ass kisser and a bully, so of course he’d beat the piss out of the leprechaun faking being Vince’s son. And of course Finlay, the real dad, would fight back. Simple over the top wresting story. And on the bright side it let us all avoid generic Mr “I say my name twice” getting a big push. |

Drew and Bobby should main event and headline Night One. Banks and Belair should be in the middle of the show cause their "feud" isn't main event worthy cause it's been a mess in the booking. |

Yeah I'm not buying the women's match main eventing either. It should be a great match but I'm not getting that "big fight feel" from the build as much as Drew/Lashley.
If their match eclipses the one one from Backlash last year, it 100% should main event night one. I'd argue Raw and Smackdown should have a main event each too.
If the rumours of them making such s big deal about the first entrance in front of fans are true, and it's for Drew before he reclaims the title, I guess I could accept it.

And it was the 2 biggest stars in the company at that time and they opened the show. Lashley and Drew are both higher mid card guys at best and there is no reason they cant open. |

Wasn't Heyman's promo at 35 part shoot? Lesnar was pissed about not main eventing and demanded to go on first? It worked out great, but I don't think it was their intention to have it open.

Rollins is a star but not biggest star and look at him now in the mid card and Brock Lesnar was holding a secondary world title. Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre are higher mid carders, are you  ing kidding me, Vince would never and I mean ever let his main world title open up WrestleMania, Since WrestleMania 2 the WWE Championship has main evented (or put in later on in the show) on the show of shows. Lashley and McIntyre are main eventers not what you said. That is a slap in the face to two guys who are in the one of the world title matches. |
