pretty sure its a given we're getting Brock v Lashley at Mania next year, and Roman vs Rock....both for their respective world titles.....the question is, who closes "night 1"....and will all the weirdos be triggered than the women aren't main eventing?
Think we get Reigns/Rock at WM 39 in Hollywood with Rock retiring and putting over Reigns clean. Not next year which I think will be Drew, but hell you could always do a Reigns Vs Lashley as well if Brock doesn't return as that with their current characters and the pushes their getting right now could be hyped up a ton and the fans I think would be pretty behind it.

thats my biggest thing about this Wrestlemania, now both nights included. nothing really happened that i can say in 5 years from now i'll want to go back and watch again because it was that damn good. a lot of it had to do with the endings of the matches. wrestling is about stories, and you always remember the endings. Edge could have won tonight, telling that amazing story, with a much more exciting ending, he keeps the belt for a couple months fighting off Bryan and maybe Jey. Then Roman destroys him taking it back, and holds it until Mania next year. Just would have been WAY more memorable than "Reigns must pose" Reigns need the win and a long title reign much more then Edge or Bryan, same went for the Lashley/McIntrye match up.Bryan is on the back nine of his career just like Edge and both got one last shot in a Wrestlemania main event.Rumors around for a while is that Bryan may indeed retire by the end of the year and focus more on his family and a backstage role while Edge is still a part timer and at 47 doesn't need nor do I think wants another World Title win and run. You keep build this heel Reigns and get more and more heat and steam behind him until the fanbase turns full on him and are dying to see him finally lose.
Going to have to respectfully disagree. Neither of the 3 guys truly "needed" the win. Reigns has now won 3 Wrestlemania main events (one vs The Undertaker). This isn't a man that needs to be legitimized.

This isn't a man that needs to be legitimized. None of the 3 “needed it” because none of the 3 needed that push to the top like Drew last year needed. To me, Reigns was the smart clear cut choice to walk out of Mania champ, as evidenced by this Mania the time to rely on the part timers and retirees is coming to/has come to an end. Taker — gone, Rock — gone, Lesnar — gone, Cena — gone, etc... Like it or not Reigns is going to be the guy to carry the company for the next decade. Smart move is to continue to keep him on top during arguably the best work he’s doing in his career thus far.

Big E or Keith Lee would be my picks for sure. I'd love for Cesaro to come close tho Keith Owens had three matches against Reigns for the belt. Bryant had three matches against Reigns too. I'd be shocked if Edge didn't get another try. I fully expect him to come out Smackdown and say he is champ too, because he pinned Bryant as well. We finally get Edge v Roman, one on one. Edge wins ala Rock at Backlash after losing the Fatal 4 way at WM2000.

On paper it was set up to be one of the worst Mania's of all time. It over achieved from what it set up to be...whether it be the wrestlers "bringing it" or just the fact we had wrestling in front of a live crowd again. It wasnt great by any means...I probably wouldnt have it in the top 20...but it clearly wasnt in the top bottom 5 as I expected it.

Both given the way that all of Reigns challengers have been multi-month, and that Edge is the only one he hasn't faced one on one, after going from 1-30 in the Rumble, it would be weird to not have the match you hyped for over a month BEFORE adding Bryant. Especially with the way it ended. Moreover, given that several Mania match where the Rumble winner lost they got a shot again at Backlash...Rock in 2000, Cena in 2008, Orton in 2009, this would not be unprecedented.

It wasnt great by any means...I probably wouldnt have it in the top 20...but it clearly wasnt in the top bottom 5 as I expected it. More like bottom 10. Main event was fine, but it didn't feel like a WrestleMania main event match. They put in Daniel Bryan, but I feel like he added little to the match other than to give the fans someone else to cheer, when the storyline was set up to be Reigns vs. Edge. It felt more like a Fastlane or Backlash main event. Or an extended big match Raw main event. I did enjoy Edge and Bryan fighting over the submission and head-butting each other. To me the only way to go forward with this is to have Edge snap and become a psychopath again because all his dreams were shattered and he'll blame Daniel Bryan for it. As for Roman Reigns, the obvious next big challenger for him is Big E. The Fiend vs. Randy Orton was horse manure. I never want to see them wrestle again. And yes, WWE has ruined The Fiend. And they've pretty much done everything they can to ruin Wyatt at every turn as soon as he gets an angle or character over. I'm happy Rhea Ripley got the win. Hope they let her run with the brawl. I was disappointed that the fans felt a little tired for this one, but I enjoyed the finish with Ripley gutting through Asuka's kicks before she pinned her. Yeah, Night 1 was better. Night 2 was pretty flaccid.

Such interesting Mania Lots of good and lots of horrible
Edge not winning and the triple threat itself was underwhelming
Cesaro-Rollins Riddle-Sheamus Bianca-Banks were some favorite of mine I like big E and crews match
I missed McIntyre-Lashley And Owens and zayne
This mania tried little to hard on swerves

They can't be any worse than those this year trying to take away from Belair and Banks, claiming there was no way they could deliver in the spot before the match but switching to "it's not the main event" after they in fact delivered 😛

I don’t even know anymore...
I didn’t even watch and now I’m catching clips and I just... god I hate wrestling now.
And god those live audience members are dumb. Maskless goofs left and right. Someone’s gonna die from going to a wrestling card. Seriously, there’s no way someone isn’t gonna die of covid exposure directly from their attendance at this event.
I quit wrestling because I knew I would either cripple myself or kill myself in that ring. I can’t imagine having to bury a loved one just because they attended a wrestling event.

The WWE Championship should be the main event! Sasha vs Bianca don’t have a main event build!” really did become “IT DOESNT COUNT!” really fast, huh?

I'm watching it now (in the UK it starts at midnight and ends somewhere in the distant future and I value my sleep). Can I just say how thrilled I am that Hogan got booed every time he spoke? That crowd is a welcome return.

Really cannot understand how they dropped the ball with The Fiend once again. They had the chance to have him return as the most demonic and satanic version of him yet, which in fairness, had happened at Fastlane. But it gets to Wrestlemania, and he's just back as the normal Fiend again. I was expecting to have an even more amped up version of his Fastlane outfit for his entrance, and come down to the ring with gigantic bull horns on or something. Was also a shame to have the Match in red lights, especially since Orton brought out his best ever attire.
The visual of Bliss coming out of the Jack in the Box was incredible, but it immediately led to more confusion. Is she now some sort of ultimate Empress who holds all the power? I was expecting this to be a 2 minute squash match for the rammped-up Fiend, not an Orton win with more questions. You just know they probably don't have an answer for this themselves yet, which is why I find it baffling.
The Triple Threat was great, but the finish made it feel somewhat Backlash or any other PPV. I understand why they did it, but it just took away from it being a great pure Triple Threat. I'd imagine we get Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar III next year, followed by Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 39.

This Mania was a huge test for WWE. Aside from Edge, they didn’t have the likes of Undertaker, Lesnar, Triple H, Cena etc to fall back on. I’d say they passed with flying colours. The matches that I thought would be meh filler were a lot better than I expected. As much as I love the Hulkster, I’d be fine with not seeing him for a few years. Night one was a ton of fun. -I didn’t expect Drew to lose but it was the right call. He has plenty of reigns left in him. -Great to see Zazaro get his big win, and you could tell how happy he was about it. -I hope it’s several years before New Day win another Tag Team Championship. -Shane is obviously not the most technically gifted wrestler but he could have an entertaining match with a toaster. Braun ripping the cage apart was brilliant but that finish, holy . -Back at the Rumble, who saw Bad Bunny having the one of the highlight matches of Wrestlemania? -The hair whip heard round the world. I thought it was a sound effect at first. We all knew Bianca would win but it was a great main event 😏 to end the show. Night two had the aforementioned filler matches that I didn’t expect much from. Thankfully I was proven wrong. -Another confusing match all round. Didn’t expect Orton to win. Didn’t expect The Fiend to return with his standard attire instead of his burnt one. Didn’t expect Alexa to help Orton win. I was hoping Orton would get his comeuppance against her with an RKO. -Owens and Sami seemed a bit lacklustre in comparison to their previous matches. Another five or so minutes would have helped. Logan Paul seemed unnecessary and didn’t really add to the match. I liked his reactions, he genuinely seemed shocked at some of the moves being done. He sold the Stunner beautifully too. -Sheamus and Riddle was brutal. The top rope White Noise botch could have been a lot worse. I’m assuming that would have been the finish? Instead we got the brutal Brogue Kick. Since I’m sick of seeing superkicks done in any form, I preferred this to the Cole and Ricochet one. Probably my favourite match from night two. -Great to see Apollo, and Big E without the New Day on the big stage. Another match I groaned at when announced. Too bad it ended when it was just gaining momentum. And no drums being used? Also, Raw Underground did not exist so I don’t know what any of you are talking about. -I can’t take Rhea seriously with a pump handle slam finisher, especially pinning Asuka with it. -Main event II started off a bit meh but when it kicked in, it really kicked in. All three of them could have won and that unpredictability can be magic, and it was. I loved the double cross face / head butt spot. Roman pinning both Edge and Bryan was the perfect finish.
