Kicking things off with the Titan Tron Live polls I'll be doing over the next year to see who wrestling figs think is the greatest TTL. Starting it off with the first of the real-scan figures. Since it's not really fair to judge the ones that came before real-scan. Big Show Cactus Jack Road Dogg The Rock Triple H X-Pac

Going with X-PAC on this one I think. I do like the Big Show, but I think the colours on X-PAC win it for me.

I think the problem with this set is Hindsight, all great figures that we got better TTL versions of them all later.
So while I would pick Cactus or HHH, we got a way better cactus in FS2 and that TTL9 HHH Head is so much better
But I have to give some love to Cactus, I loved the figure back then - still have one MOC today.
This set also debuted Knee and Elbow pads (Outside ROTR 1 and DS4)
It also had a garbage bag/ shreds of paper with road dogg they never used again
Rock had a removable watch never used again
a coffee maker with cactus never used again, Food/Tray with triple H never released with a figure again (Maybe a playset)
I also don't think they did too many of the TVs that came with Xpac

Really good first set for the real scans. With Road Dogg & X-Pac especially, these may be their best TTL figures. I had to go with Rock just for the inclusion of the watch. Already a good fig but the watch just takes it over the line for me, even if he's missing the sunglasses.

That's a tough call. Man, I remember the absolute hype when the RS tech was first rolled out (who remembers the foam lined briefcases filled with the new figures?!)
My memory of this particular set is hazy (I can usually remember where and relatively when I bought most figures, even 20+ years ago, but these ones escape me). I know for sure I had Road Dogg (I bought him at an Ames next door to a hotel I was staying at for some reason or another), The Rock, Big Show, and I think I had Cactus, but I might not have. My mind is giving me vague memories of Show being particularly hard to find, and so that, paired with these pics showing him to probably be the least dated looking in terms of resemblance, leads me to vote for him as my favorite.
Looking forward to Series 5. Much clearer memories of that set.

Cactus, with Road Dogg as a close second. I used both of them in my fig-fed well into 2006. I actually think I had this whole set except The Rock, who I always though looked straight from a funeral.

Just missing the chain and sunglasses. Having the watch saves it though.

X-PAC for me, he was a character that jakks did a great job on. My personal favourite is the house of pain X-PAC, but this one is great too.

That X-Pac still looks really good - the head, attire and everything is pretty much perfect.

That was the first X Pac without moulded glasses so it was always a favourite scan of mine.

I don’t recall having anyone from this set. Which is crazy because I was 10 years old and was all in on anything WWF related. It might be the fact that it’s a lot of street gear figures. They had this odd tendency to roll out a line and start off with street gear figures. Series 1 and Series 4. The Rock and Triple H from that one sub line “House of Pain” knocked these figures out of the park. I remember getting those in store

Few things.
1. Objectively, and only looking at this set alone, I have to give it to X-Pac. That's a really nice X-Pac figure and the likeness is spot on.
2. I know it's supposed to be Cactus Jack, but for my money, that's a Mick Foley figure. IMHO, Cactus isn't Cactus without his boots (or tights). You put a Cactus figure in white sneakers, it's just a "Mick Foley" figure to me.
3. That said, that "Cactus" figure would fit nicely on my shelf as a Mick Foley figure. I didn't get the Mattel WM one (THAT HEAD) and now I can't get it, and I've been in the market to replace my 1/3000 CS one. I may have to look in this direction, if you guys are saying we got even better Foley figures than this in the TTL line...

For Foley, I thought the Back in the ring Set was the best for a Mick Foley even if he had short hair, and FS2 is the better Cactus and even if you want a "Mick Foley" style like he was in 98/99, the FS1 is supposed to be Mick Foley half Mankind/ Dude love and would work awesome as well.

But, leading into the 2000 Royal Rumble Foley was going by Cactus Jack and dressing exactly like that. He did wear the boots and tights for the match though.

Famous Scenes 2, the best Cactus TTL for sure. Even the Triple H is probably the best tron Hunter fig.

I'd have to say X pac and right after that, Mick Foley. The Rock headscan is amazing but the best TTL Rock figure was the one in ring gear.
