Does anyone have any experience with it? I’m thinking of giving it a shot but want to know if it’s worth it. I’m not terribly out of shape, 5’7 and 160lbs, but have some fat I want to shed and want to tone up more. So should I give it a shot?

I did the full 13 week program about 10 years ago and it was truly amazing. My own laziness caused me to stop afterward, but it really does work. A few years ago, I picked up boxing and there’s a lot of stuff we do in training that’s also in DDP yoga. I have the app now. I don’t use it a ton, but if I’m on vacation or the gym is closed, I’ll log on and get a yoga session in.
The first time I went through the program, my proudest moment was when I was finally able to get from doing push-ups on my knees to doing full pushups.

I tried it in 2013 and followed along with the videos and I did see results but I wound up going to the gym more often since it was in the same mall as my job. But I would recommend it and I do recommend it to someone wanting to lose weight or improve their physical health. Even if I didn't try the videos myself, just reading the stories is enough for me to recommend it. How many people told Arthur Boorman he would never walk without crutches? I'm sure doctor after doctor told him so but he is the poster person for the program. I got to shake his hand in person a few years ago and it was an honor.
Lastly, think of how many rehabs Scott Hall and Jake Roberts went to. What is the one thing that's worked for them long term? That also is enough for me to recommend it.

I've had the DVD set for a long time. It is a great program and it's very beneficial. I find DDP to be really motivating and encouraging. I don't use it that much any more but I have all of the moves ingrained in my memory so I can do it anywhere.

I have the DVD set, and did it religiously for a while. It's a great, low impact workout that is really beneficial if you're working through any sort of pain or mobility hindrances. A lot of what he has in place was given to me during my most recent bout with PT to overcome an intensely painful period of sciatica. If you put the work in to the dynamic resistance, you can really break a sweat doing the workouts. Highly recommended. I need to get back to it.

Also, I forgot to mention that DDP as an instructor makes a huge difference. Usually, a lot of yoga instructors are very passive and kind of whisper the instructions. DDP is the complete opposite. Totally hyped up and really gets you in a mindset to push yourself. He also always mentions modifications and making the workouts your own.
When I originally got into it, the DVD set also came with access to a social media platform. DDP is pretty active in the message threads and would DM members to check in. I remember getting a few messages just asking how I was doing and if I was sticking with it.
Another thing that makes it great is DDP believes in it 1,000%. He’s not just trying to make a buck. I’ve seen him at conventions talking to people about it for a really long time. Once I was at NYCC. There was a pretty overweight guy asking him about it. I happened to be in the area for a while so I kept looking over. One on point, I see DDP with his leg up by his head. Eventually after what had to be like 20 minutes, DDP writes something on a piece of paper, hands it to the guy, and says “Please call me. I’ll help you get started.”

in 2016 i went from 320 to 267 in about 2 months doing it. I religiously did the first 3 dvds alternating on days. I didnt really do the schedule they included, also didnt follow the food they suggested. however i just ate like 1200 calories.
I couldnt do the workouts at all when i first started and by the end i was able to do them all with ease

Went ahead and subscribed for a year of the program. Picked up the heart monitor too as I’ve read many people saying it makes a major difference.

Started week two. Only thing that took me out of it is you go straight into energy from the Diamond Dozen into Energy and he has you getting into positions that you haven’t learned yet. So have to try and look at the screen while being told to keep your head down. Got the hang of it quickly though and I’m already down a few pounds. Might start doing the Diamond Dozen daily just to keep me active.

Not to change the subject totally but I hate how the Shark Tank cast acted like he was just another person coming to make a business deal. Maybe that's what the script calls for but the man wrestled in both top two major promotions of the last 30 years and was very close to Hulk Hogan level in WCW. Maybe it was for the show and I know people say his goal was to come out not with a deal but with more publicity but did all 5 of these people really not know who he was ?

I’ve started doing after having ridiculous back pain (turns out I should have bought a new bed much sooner). Within two beginner workouts, said pain was gone. Once you get used to it, it doesn’t really feel like a workout anymore but rather a fun thing to do. I never got the heart rate monitor either, it just doesn’t seem necessary. I wear my Apple Watch when doing it anyway. he has you getting into positions that you haven’t learned yet. So have to try and look at the screen while being told to keep your head down. That constantly happens as you progress and new moves are added. If you find yourself bored of doing the same handful of workouts the program offers, I’d recommend the live workouts. (I assume you’re using the app and not the DVDs?) They have an actual audience that you can see so it feels like you’re actually part of it.

Helps me figure out where I need to be and has been making it feel more like a game. I do use the app so I’ll have to check them out. Might start getting to the point where I’m using this daily.

Started doing it a few weeks ago, had the DVD for a few years and never stuck with it for more than a week, which is a big regret when I look at the progress I’ve made in the past couple of weeks.

I’m in the midst of week 5. I’ve definitely notice some change in my posture and how I feel overall. My right elbow is a little painful to work with since I was in a car accident a few weeks back but I’m about to work through it. I’m only a couple pounds from my goal weight too. Think I’m to the point where I may just do a workout nightly while sticking with the workout schedule. Great investment so far.

I have acquired it and was hoping to start it, wasn't sure if I should just pick and choose or what. (Obviously if I follow it to a tee I'll get the most out of it)

Ill be honest, I was on the fence of doing this for years and for whatever reason this pushed me over the edge to purchase the DVDs so I should be getting them in a few days and excited to try it out.
