Sorry, force of habit. Since AEW is the only other major wrestling promotion with a full-on action figure deal, I think there's hope for some of the guys that WWE/Mattel lost or never got. All of this is dependent on how long the line lasts and how ferociously Jeremy wants to dive into a Legends line, and many of these will definitely be longshots.
Obviously Sting (UWF, NWA, Surfer, Joker, and any possible Crow looks) Steiners (Steiner Brothers Tag Team, Big Poppa Pump, young Rick, and late heel Rick) Rock n' Roll Express (with proper hair colors this time, Jeremy) Midnight Express (Eaton, Condrey, and Lane, unless Corny can put the kibosh on that) Arn and Tully Barry Windham (provided his deal is long up, and Mattel likely won't make another) Nikita Koloff Dr. Death potentially Possibly a WCW, UWF, or WCCW style One Man Gang Terry Gordy Terry and Dory Funk provided Terry's Legends contract is up Chris Adams Gino Hernandez Iceman Parsons Gary Hart Classic Tony Schiavone Classic Jim Ross Ole and Gene Anderson Ron Garvin Bubba/Bully Ray RVD Tazz Sabu Sandman Raven
Also, since I'm not really up on when Legend contracts expire there could be potential for some other guys like: Mustache Harley Race (provided his contract with Mattel is up) David and Fritz Von Erich (depending on if Mattel still has the rights to all of them or just Kerry) Young Andre the Giant (since his deal isn't exclusive and TNA was going to release that Legends figure in red before the line was cancelled) Road Warriors (unless Big Johnny somehow was bequeathed the rights to allow them to make Animal, not sure where Hawk's estate stands) Dusty Rhodes (depending on how long the line lasts, Dusty's wife would likely go with AEW, especially if they offer a better deal. That would definitely be a figure Cody would want to get out if it's ever possible to do so).
Wishful thinking (aka WWE lifers section) Mid-South Hacksaw Duggan Mid-South Ted DiBiase (black glove) Japan Cactus Jack

I’d probably get the first set of their legends and go from there to see how I feel about them. I don’t have tons of room and most of my stuff is stored away but I wouldn’t mind getting some here and there. As long as the figures are good and don’t nosedive like Jakks did with some CS. I’d like a lot of new generation guys who have some nice deco and attires. A Classic Christian and Gangrel would be cool. I would think Owen would be a super high priority for Jeremy. If he could somehow land an Owen figure they’d be pure money with the line. I know Martha has her problems with wrestling and WWE but with her releasing that little plastic thing and having the money go to the foundation maybe they could do one similar. Martha said on Jericho's podcast that basically she wants nothing to do with WWE and that anyone who approached her always had some kind of tie back to WWE directly or indirectly. Owen has had a good bit of merch on the PWT site - 2 Brawlers, socks, a few tshirts - that have been Dark Side of the Ring and Owen Hart Foundation co-branded. Jeremy also made some recent comments strongly implying that there have been at least discussions with Martha. I think there's a really good chance that something could be worked out with a significant sum going to the Foundation that makes business sense for everyone. But time will tell.

Classic talent territory era talent, ECW, and some journeyman guys like Jerry Lynn, Malenko, etc are perfect fits because their own their own likeness and gimmick. Things get more difficult once you get into the late 90's and 00's where WWE starts to own more IP. Some of the WCCW talent might be too much of a deep cut, but with Jeremy I wouldn't rule anything out. Andre is really interesting, imo. His estate doesn't do exclusive deals, but I wonder if the price tag would be too high for the number of figures they'd sell. And what looks haven't been made by Super 7 or Mattel? But he's also a name that retailers will get behind. The Steiners are right at the top of my want list. Rick's son recently signed with WWE, so I hope that doesn't create any complications. Going off of some of Jeremy's interviews, it sounds like legends will live in Unmatched. But I got the impression that he might be thinking about a standalone legends line if they can continue to carve out space at retail. Unmatches sales data would probably help test the waters and possibly convince retailers.

I really want to see Sting get figures. But that said I hope his first figure isn’t from the street fight.

From a retail standpoint, he's arguably the biggest name they have signed. Based off of what they did with the S1 Bucks, I'm hoping we see an amazing softgoods jacket for Surfer Sting.

I would love to see the following, since they were never part of the Jakks Classic line and Mattel also haven't made a fig:
Owen Hart (He is one of my all time favorites)
The Natural Dustin Rhodes (I guess he could be one of the first legends figs)
Hercules (seems like WWE won't sign him)
Bart Gunn (Billy is signed, so hopefully they can get the Smoking Gunns out)
Marc Mero (A Johnny B. Badd was planned by Jakks, that means has no problem with a figure)
Savio Vega/Kwang Gangrel Skinner Corporal Kirchner Samu Dino Bravo
Also hoping for new figs of Crush Giant Gonzalez Ken Patera Rick Martel Ron Bass Dynamite Kid Sabu Mountie Barbarian Ken Shamrock D Lo Brown
And many many more

I see a lot of people are listing wrestlers with no AEW connection. Is that something that's being talked about by Jazwares, incorporating wrestlers from outside the company? Because at that point I'd like to put in a request for this to just be AJW Legends.

Just with the talent that is currently signed or appeared on aew, they could have a really nice legends line....
-sting -Jericho -tully -arn -tazz -billy Gunn -Jim ross -ddp -Jake the snake -rock n roll Express -Dustin rhodes -cody -young bucks -paul wight -matt hardy -christian cage
Could easily spit out 5 or 6 sets without even having to sign any new talent.

Because at that point I'd like to put in a request for this to just be AJW Legends. They are definitely looking beyond talent working for AEW. There was a funny incident a while back where Jeremy tweeted to a fake Terry Funk account saying he'd love to talk about signing him to a figure contract. But the odds of AJW wrestlers would honestly probably be pretty slim.

Oh yeah, that's absolutely a pipe dream of mine, not a realistic want. But I'm also thinking that Aja's already been in a few matches for AEW, sooo... (Honestly I'd just be impressed if they could get one made of her. If that happens, I wouldn't care if every other peg in Wal-Mart was full of Cody variants.)
