Any updates on this - is this line actually going to happen and if so when would be the most likely time for Jazzwares to announce the line- Comic Con?!
I am eagerly awaiting news on this line to see what it will look like and what kind of legends will be a part of it. Hoping it actually comes to fruition and that we can get figures of some of the legends that Mattel will likely not make figures of due to them being on bad terms with WWE or not willing to sign a legends deal. Would anyone of the following be likely to be part of this line:

Assuming the legend actually has to have a connection to AEW in order to get considered....

I mean look at that retro line that Zombie Sailor is putting together. Sabu, Bruiser Brody, Kevin Sullivan, and Dino Bravo already signed on.
AEW should be able to get many legends who never had an affiliation with them cause that well isn't really deep enough for an entire line.

I’m fairly positive that Nancy Benoit aka Woman/Fallen Angel will be one of the figures if AEW is doing an upcoming ‘legends’ line.
Every now again Nancy’s sister goes live on IG and answers questions from fans about Nancy and her own own experiences within the wrestling business.
Recently I’ve been able to catch a couple of her streams and she’s pretty much said that Nancy would be getting an action figure within the year,
At first I believed it to be a Micro Brawler, but when talking about it, she mentioned talking with AEW ‘higher ups’ about it.
Checking social media, you can see she and Jeremy have spoken to each other. Cant think of any reason they would know each other other than to discuss a figure.

Jeremy was also asked about gear for legends, specifically ECW Taz and TNA-era Jerry Lynn. His answer was "absolutely," so hopefully that puts some of the speculation to bed. We're going to get some dream figures when they start incorporating legends.

They've been interacting on social media for a few months. Jeremy also made a comment about Owen Hart that was basically "I'm not going to confirm or deny, but more to come." It's very possible they've done something through Dark Side of the Ring, similar to what PWT did. Jeremy is very aware of the market and who has and hasn't had figures. He's absolutely going to exploit those opportunities wherever possible. |

It sounds like legends will be a part of the Unmatched line. But just like WWE, they're going to balance current talent and legends. |

I’d probably get the first set of their legends and go from there to see how I feel about them. I don’t have tons of room and most of my stuff is stored away but I wouldn’t mind getting some here and there. As long as the figures are good and don’t nosedive like Jakks did with some CS. I’d like a lot of new generation guys who have some nice deco and attires. A Classic Christian and Gangrel would be cool. I would think Owen would be a super high priority for Jeremy. If he could somehow land an Owen figure they’d be pure money with the line. I know Martha has her problems with wrestling and WWE but with her releasing that little plastic thing and having the money go to the foundation maybe they could do one similar.
