I got a one year Network subscription, in three month gift-card form, for my birthday this year. By the time the switchover happens, I'll have six months in cards left over. I wonder if the leftover cards will be wasted? If so, I have a friend in another country I can give the codes to.
Still, that's a bummer, if so.

I wonder what the broader international implications will be?

this is a huge win for everyone involved.
for the same price per month you're getting MORE television content and not losing a thing from the WWE Network the WWE just cashed out big time NBC just expanded their business by at least 1 million people this exposes WWE content to like 20 million people, because there is still a free tier
legit this is the biggest thing to happen to this company since RAW debuted on USA

Will the content finally be in 60fps? Unless I’ve done it wrong in the past, when I had subscriptions to the network, the video feed always ran at 30fps like it does on their YouTube channel. Watchable, but never felt right. Doesn’t look “live” if that makes sense.
Also, $4.99 with ads... does this mean whatever we’re watching will be constantly interrupted every few minutes, or so, like on YouTube? If so, I just can’t. An ad at the beginning, any maybe the end of each video, and that’s it, I can deal with.

My Comcast bill is criminal, but I get Netflix, HBO Max, Peacock and now the WWE Network through them. So I'm just going to pretend it all evens out in the end.

I believe if you're international, nothing changes. NBC is paying WWE... ...for the next five years. It's 4.99 for a version with commercials or 9.99 for commercial free. So you could either save money or pay the same. No price hike. Oh and it's over, Vince failed. It would’ve been worth TWO billion if they pushed Chad Gable properly. The Fed, as ever, is dead.

Hoping there’s some way for it to carry over or the amount refunded. At the very least wwe shop credit

Hopefully it's a better quality stream. I can't count how often I get, "Something went wrong" errors or it just completely freezing at the final moment of a PPV match.

Man, I just spent the last few weeks adding 8 years worth of Raws, Smackdowns, Nitros, Thunders, Heats, WWF/WWE/WCW PPVs to My List on WWE Network in chronological order. That was now a massive waste of time. Also, I’ve tried Peacock and not a fan of the platform. Cant even turn off autoplay, won’t be able to add the episodes in order individually, and who knows if all the content will even be added? Yuck. This is frustrating.

SmackDown moving to FOX never affected the UK and WWE moving to BT Sports from Sky Sports here never affected the world. Well done to WWE though, that’s some serious cash 🤑

Interesting. No big deal to me provided the content stays the same/continues to be updated.
I pay $10 for WWE Network and $5 for peacock as it is now so a win for me.

Seems like a great deal for you guys in the USA, I can't see why at this time people would have a problem with it. I can't see it having any effect on us here in the UK. Although, if it could reverse that bull crapdecision to all of a sudden start airing NXT on a week-long delay I would be very, very happy

Wait I have Peacock and the WWE Network. So does that mean I will be saving $10 a month now because I an paying $10 a month for each.

Kind of skeptical about this. I really doubt that they’re going to transfer ALL of the content that’s currently on the network over to peacock. There’s almost no way. You’re telling me I can still access an obscure episode of WCCW from 1988 and it’s gonna be exactly the same? I just don’t buy that’s they’re going to squeeze in 100% of the current content on the network and continually add new content on-top of the other non-WWE content that’s on peacock.

Hmmm, wonder if we'll get a "Friends" crossover with them going on Raw for a few segments. I wouldn't mind seeing Ross getting beat up by Slapballs and Mace Bar.

Some people have pointed out how terrible Peacock's search function is. If they just move everything WWE over to Peacock's current coding, viewers won't be able to search by specific wrestlers. This could be a huge headache.
