Not gonna subscribe to Peacock but I’d love to see what they do to 2004 episodes of Raw. Theyll likely edit out Benoit and Eugene, and then we’ll get to see the classic Iron Man match where HHH fought himself for one hour. And then because it was so well received, he did it again at SummerSlam 2004.

Sadly I can see Peacock editing a lot of JBL footage as well. 2004 is gonna be butchered.

Which of those movies and shows that graphically show and document violent content are marketed toward children? Everytime anyone gets too heated about the current product, it's always brought up that this is for kids and it's so immature for a grown-up to get mad. But now it's fine and dandy to get TRIGGERED because the company appropriates its past content to fit that same audience? Not directed at anyone personally, just a question. As you said about other forms of media, the missing content is floating around elsewhere, readily accessible that any adult or knowledgeable child could procure for themselves. DEFINITELY not erased forever from history in any way, shape, or form.

And let's not compare Roddy Piper talking down Bad News Brown about his "big bug eyes" that are about to "pop right outta them sockets", "out of proportion ears", "dilated nostrils", and "BIIIIIIGGGGG MOUTH", all while jiving on the his painted side, to a classic artistic masterpiece. Or even an essential component to the event itself.

We had it made on the Network. Sure some themes were dubbed and what not but it was way better than this sh*t. There should be no need for a physical collection just to get the unedited version.

The thing is, all of those terrible things in all those movies are presented as terrible things usually done by terrible people. You see them and you know they are bad.

Piper in blackface is presented as a hero and nothing he does in his promo or in the match are presented as him being the bad guy. Bad News, the African American man he is mocking, is the villain in the story.

So not exactly the same thing.

I can only speak for myself but for me I just don’t like censorship at all. Why can’t I decide for myself if I want to watch it or not? I’m a grown adult and I don’t need to be protected.

What if NBC feels that seeing a porn star or pimp is too much and they delete all of The Godfather & Val Venis off the platform.

Put a disclaimer up and let people decide if they want to see it or not.

I'm only pissed that Peacock doesnt allow pause or rewind during live events. Makes absolutely no sense and I hope they fix it before they get even more backlash than they've gotten already.

But so far all they have censored is blackface and Vince using the N word which Wwe had already removed that. The manias with Godfather and Val are thus far in tact so I’d don’t see why they would remove them otherwise.
