Better lineup: Legends 7/8/9 or Flashback 1/2/3?

Legends 7: I didn’t buy any of these. Only wanted Sting.
Legends 8: thats my favorite Eddie G figure ever. I bought 2 of him which I rarely do. So glad he was super easy to find. Didnt really need any of the rest but I picked up a chase Jake and a Warrior because they look nice MOC.
Legends 9: I don’t really need any of these

Flashback 1: I only wanted Mean Gene
Flashback 2: the only set listed where I wanted all 4 figures. Never picked up Razor though for some reason. He was plentiful so I waited and then he was gone from the shelves.
Flashback 3: I never saw a single one of these on the shelves, which didn’t really bother me since I didn’t really need any of them. The only one Id like to have is the Commissioner Michaels BAF

I suppose Flashbacks had more figures that I wanted, but I would trade every single one of them for L8 Guerrero. My favorite figure of 2020.

Flashback 1-3 easily for me: USA Warrior, Mean Gene, Syxx, Alundra Blayze, different Doink, Harley Race, WM3 Steamboat, '96 Jake...

On the other hand, I only really wanted 1 figure (Valentine) from Legends 7-9. I suppose it depends how long you've been collecting and what figures you need... I've been collecting since the start of the Mattel line, so - although the recent Legends figures are nice - I don't really need any of them (outside first-time in the line figures).

Flashback series 1 is the strongest single wave out of all of them but overall I think Legends has been better (especially if you include that awesome Sting that never saw the light of day).

I have two figures from the Flashback sets and one from the Legends, and between everything else that I didn’t/don’t want the FB figs are more appealing to me than the Legends.

Legends but it’s pretty close.
Valentine is my fav of them all. Mean gene is excellent and I like syxx,.but L8 chase Jake and L9 M$M put the Legends series on top for me

I have to agree the Flashbacks has a far better line-up; Legends was really hampered by the lack of new and interesting talent available...

I’m going with the flashbacks. I feel like the legends line could have had one or two better choices or new in the line figures to make it pop a little bit. Although even with the figures we got in the flashback set that we had already, they picked some really good attires.

Flashback series by a country mile for me. The character selection and attires were figures I was actually interested in. So far I've bought all of the Legends line, but it's been out as boredom as much as anything. There really hasn't been a single figure aside from the chase Jake that I've actually been excited for.

Flashback and it's not even close. I haven't purchased any of the Legends since the relaunch (Vader will be the first). The flashback set gave us awesome figures on top of build a set/fig. I bought multiples of most of the Flashback line. The Legends set also has suffered from really bad part choices.

I feel like the FB line was a huge missed opportunity.  They way overshipped the first base set, and S2 was a weak lineup.  From the placeholder lineups and some of the info Mattel has shared, if the line would have continued, it would have done really well.  

Then again, other sublines have done well and still end up getting killed.  So maybe none if it really matters.

It's close for me but I went with Flashbacks. The only set of the flashbacks I didn't really care about was the second one. But I think the legends line is doing a good job.
