I buy pins from time to time, and I know there's definitely a collector's market there, but I've never taken the full plunge.

So in reality the best course of action is for UK buyers to have someone here in the US buy them, wait for them to arrive, and then pay cost plus shipping. It’ll take a while for you to get them but also seems like the only way to get them without spending a fortune.

I think that’s me out TBH - I had arranged with a friend in the US to take delivery for me but I’m not asking him to shell-out so much cash for me as well. I’m sure some folks will make a fortune on eBay with them but I think I have to sit-out this line - I’ll stick to Chella and the Retros I think.

Yea it was actually something that was highlighted in that Zombie had means into the UK via their contacts. Again this is a red flag, why not take advantage of those contacts and resources, why would the pod guys secure talent for free? I would say there is a lot going on that simply is not public knowledge. Their business relationship with Zombie goes way back. I can actually see his first limited figure being Major Pod branded.

Yep...he's basically made it so that you have to pre-arrange an after-market sale.

At the end of the day the more figures being made, especially in a retro style format the better

Even though I’m out due to location I still hope the line goes well the same as chella etc. The more successful the lines the more the possibility of what they can do increases.

Also this line and chella going well might inspire others to get into making them and that can only be good. I’m sure super 7 etc started small and built themselves up so why can’t others?

This line, chella and junk shop all producing figures along with Mattel, jazwares and the other more established companies show while werestling figures are a niche of a niche it’s growing and that can only be good

Other companies might come along and get built up, but what if ZST has a lock on Dino Bravo getting made by anyone else? That's what annoys me most.

You can use PayPal if it's registered in the US or Canada, but if it's from another country then Zombie will track you down and cancel your order, refunding you less I think it was 5% for the cost of PayPal's fees.

This is true in that it’s great to see guys get their first time figures, especially those with long standing careers who are most deserving, I would worry about ZST growing, this attitude and hostility had been almost a day one thing from him and his approach’s to me are now very questionable. I can only imagine what success of a grand level would do to ZST. I just wish Chella had got to a lot of these guys first to be honest. That’s why you see Zombie signing as much talent as he possibly can.

Yeah we are disappointed we can’t get hold of them but ultimately it’s zombies company to run as he feels is right for him.

I mean, going back to the wcw galoob days there were uk exclusives. The only real difference is people in the USA were not aware of them pre internet but region exclusives have always been a thing.

Time to move on and focus on the figures especially for those long overdue wrestlers like some of these are - unbelievable it’s dino’s first figure

Worth noting that payment is due in full - so if you ask someone in the US to buy for you then you're asking them to put down approx. $200 for a full set of 5 figures plus shipping. 

I was going to get two sets (one to keep MOC and one to open) so that would have been $400 I was going to give Zombie. I can't ask someone in the US to put themselves $400 down for me, even if I'm refunding them immediately.

Also given the limit he is placing on this sale being two sets per person then any person I'm asking to help me would be sacrificing their own allocation to make it work.

This is why I was hoping I could order them myself on my card and have them shipped to my contact in the US, but Zombie closed that down with his rules.

Probably exclusive rights to produce that size and style fig. I highly doubt he would lock up the rights across all figs. Why would he unless he intends to eventually make 6-7” figs which doesn’t seem likely.

I find it interesting that both Chella and PWT have a Dynamite Kid now. Seems like lots of wrestlers are being contacted these days.
