If it was Owen he would not have made this „sign the contract“ story. The wrestler is alive, otherwise it would be tasteless. The question is, who can be called the hottest free agent alive that needs a figure? What about Sting as Surfer Sting? Yes, he is with AEW, but not sure about his figure contracts? 🤷🏼♂️ Other „hot free agents“ (I am assuming he has already signed): - CM Punk (again, he is overrated in my eyes) - Shane Douglas - Jeff Jarrett - Kurt Angle (no need as he had a spot in the WWE Retro line) - RVD (not sure about his WWE legends deal) - any random named hot chick - 🤷🏼♂️ But I am honestly kind of losing interest. It needs to be revealed soon, or I get bored. Consuming too much other stuff on instagram to get tention buil up. 😂 That’s my thought when people like Chelsea are mentioned. If the hype ends up not being as big as people expect then it could backfire. Not all hype is good hype

They can't afford to do Owen. I don’t completely disagree with this but I could see the possibility of Martha allowing it for a charitable cause. ZST I could see willing to do it for free or at a minor loss as it would be big exposure for his brand. That's the thing though. This is a niche product. The buzz would not be huge. Just like it wasn't huge for Owen's figure on PWT. If they were making a 7" figure, then yes. No way Zombie gives all proceeds away when he is brand spanking new and no way Martha lets him make anything off Owen. Never going to happen.

To live up to the hype for me, would have to be Double J or Punk.
Like someone said, Owen couldn't sign a contract. I think it's JJ

Zombie himself has said under $40. Just my prediction (not at all confirmed) but I could see him doing $39.99 each with a price break for those who buy an entire series. When did he say that? He just said again $40 or under. So probably gonna be close to $40.

I’m not saying either side would do this - I’m just saying it is the only way I could see it happening. This would have probably a similar buzz to the PWT. Again, I think Zombie would consider doing it as a marketing through charity type of thing. Not to say he wouldn’t want to do something charitable on his own; just that this would benefit everyone involved. I seriously couldn’t say how much money it would raise though. It would probably do amazing numbers...but without knowing the profit margin, the best we can do is speculate (which is most of this thread anyway).

I think I've decided to avoid buying any Hasbro style figures outside of Mattel retros. As cool as this line is, I spend enough on regular figures alone!

He just said again $40 or under. So probably gonna be close to $40. Yea I have heard $40 from him enough that it’s either going to be that or very very close to it. Factor in postage and packing on top of that also. Again I am also going to highlight for those looking a complete collection of this line, just based on the company he keeps who limit products and through his own dealings with pins and limiting numbers don’t be surprised if extremely limited figs are made in the next couple of sets (1/100 or 1/25 etc) so be mindful going all in. I was out with these figures just based on geography, but even if that was not the case I don’t think I would be comfortable at that price point, although I am sure there are some who don’t mind and more power to them.

So Zombie has posted some of the rules and restrictions of sales on the MWFP Facebook group - highlights for me being that shipping addresses and billing addresses must match, and that any attempt at using international cards or PayPal will be cancelled. This is in respect to a pre-sale (that is limited to two sets per person), but also will apply to the general sale when that happens.
Canada not being classed as international - so open to US and Canada only.
I think that’s me out TBH - I had arranged with a friend in the US to take delivery for me but I’m not asking him to shell-out so much cash for me as well. Figures look great, but at the price being charged then it’s not worth all the extra obstacles being put up in our way, even for a Hasbro die-hard like me.
I’m sure some folks will make a fortune on eBay with them but I think I have to sit-out this line - I’ll stick to Chella and the Retros I think.

Per ZST comments on his Instagram there will be no discount for purchasing the whole set and there will be a purchase limit.

That’s insane. Anyway that really sucks for the guys (like you) who had arranged other means of obtaining these figures. Sorry dude, but your just right, stick with Mattel and Chella, they give a damn, all about money and greed with these other guys. Best wishes to them.

Ok, I gotta know... ...who hurt ZST? This man A N G R Y. Yea Josh has definitely lost it. The most backwards business man I have ever seen. Best to leave him be and let him do as he wishes. He has put every roadblock in place to ensure no all people will have access to his product which in crazy. I have never seen a manufacturer, or toy company behave in such a manner. His friends will promo the life out of his product to ensure it succeeds because they have an invested interest, but if FTC pulled this you would have never heard the end of it, as long as the right pockets are lined that’s all that matters. But it is what it is, after months Zombie has answered every question I had on the product, so will wish him and his figures all the best.

Sorry but saying “I’ve been saying for months $40 or under” isn’t great customer service. Are they $5, $15, $20 or $39.99? After all those amounts are all “under $40”. Maybe he should’ve spend more time planning the first set a bit better so he can actually communicate a price rather than signing 5 waves of wrestlers without yet confirming how much the product would be.

Yea then has the nerve to ask UK fans to pick up UK exclusive pins of the pod. Sad. UK is a valuable market only when it suits.

I know some of us have gone well over board with moaning about this guy. I can't speak for anyone else but it comes from a place of disappointment because I genuinely want to buy Dino. Yes I've been overly critical about stuff that I probably shouldn't have, but jesus. The dude is actively making it impossible for any of us to get them. This isn't about business, this is actually spite now. What harm does it cause anyone to have a US friend ship it to us?
There is no defending this. Honestly think the guy is just a giant prick.

The more I think about it dude the more I think all this is a ploy, he and his friends has been saying for ages that “demand is greater than supply”, they are essentially trying to create a false market here, by making them appear limited from the onset people will panic buy these if they have access to them, then they can announce they are “sold out”, Zombie will have a lot of these held back to then say he has only a few sets left and mark the price up even more so. Something is not right here with this line, way way to many red flags for me to believe this is just how things have panned out. Not buying it, this is well thought out and tactical, I totally agree with you people are more so coming from a place of disappointment, across the board.

I mean, there's really no spin to it. The guy has historically come off as hostile, confrontational, and angry for ages now. He's got an account here that's four years old, and it's not full of posts, but almost all of them are him butting heads with somebody or another, so it can't even be chalked up to the stress of rolling out a new toy line and the attention that brings. It'd be just as easy to, I dunno, assume that not everyone whose eyes are going to land on this product has been following along the whole time and that repeat questions are going to happen. Imagine that was that guy on Insta's first day seeing these things, and the proprietor behind it comes out swinging with IvE bEeN sAyInG fOr MoNtHs? You don't need a business degree to tell you that that's just sh*t business practice at work. Pair it with the fact that one of his biggest supporters is one of the world's other most outwardly miserable people, and it's hard to not acknowledge that misery loves company.
The hoops he's jumping through to keep these things in North America are just astounding.
In before these roll out and he's singing the praises of the after market demand over people who "missed out". Guy sucks.

This is everything a person would need to know on this situation, very well put sir. With those he keeps company with, the thing that is going to come of this via their platform is that it’s everyone else with the problem and people are just being “haters” or “delusional” which is bs, not once has this issue been addressed on their platform and they apparently “call everyone out” .As long as their pockets are being lined and they get their “marks” money and their free products then it’s all good. It brings a lot of shame to the collecting game and exploiting people’s passions for financial gain.

All major wf pod merch ships worldwide. It always has. You sure about that? To be fair, as certain as I am that these two parties are sharing a vested interest in one another, the ZST figure line isn't a Major WF Pod piece of merchandise.
